Newest game you've bought

Postby AngusMcTavish » Thu Apr 15, 2010 9:34 pm

Some time ago, I started a couple of threads for music and movies, and wouldn't you know it, I overlooked the subject of games!

So, go ahead and let us know what console, computer or other games you have gotten recently.

My most recent is Sonic Adventure DX, CD-Rom

Bought a used copy of Ace Combat 6. Worse than Ace Combat 5 or Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War, but solid nonetheless.
That's how it's down here on the farm!

I got Splinter Cell: Conviction during its midnight release on Tuesday.

I was pleased to find my name was in the credits as well. :)

Very cool.

Today was payday so I feel justified in getting a copy of Just Cause 2. I've been playing the demo and I want more. It's like Red Faction only way cooler.

"Confirm order?"

Why, yes, Mr. Amazon, I do confirm my desire to purchase this product and/or service.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic (360)
Okay, but Elder Scrolls 4 does it better.

Ultimate Spiderman (PS2)
Excellent, though needlessly difficult in some parts.

Tales of Vesperia (360)
I have yet to play this one.

I got all three of these for around $30 from a closing Hollywood Video.

Here is the most boring of all posts to be made in this thread:

On my train ride on Amtrak yesterday, I bought a deck of Amtrak playing cards to play games with

(Yes, I had my iPod Touch with plenty of game apps from the Apple App Store with me, but this thread is titled: newest game you've bought, and the newest game I bought was a deck of cards on the train :P ).

I'm picking up Monster Hunter Tri for the Wii today. Sort of makes me wish I didn't have the conversational skills of a dead sea cucumber, because it would be a wonderful excuse to finally get some use out of Wii Speak.

Red Dead Redemption deluxe edition for the PS3 It's like an old west version of Grand Theft Auto.

Arena Football (PS2). Fun stuff! Especially seeing as how you can knock receivers over the wall and into speakers and stuff!

Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing

The advantage over Mario Kart: Did Mario ever do any "special moves" while in mid-air?
