With this comeback run complete I'm glad to see they haven't lost much of their funny. They've continued their tradition of nerdy jokes and call backs to older episodes. This run of episodes leave me wondering if Fry & Leela are actually in a relationship now or what? They seemed to vary in their closeness depending on the demands of the episode. Some episodes made it seem like they were others, not so much. I mean they f*cked each other, albeit in different bodies, but it's not obvious they are a couple.

I also find it interesting they aren't taking advantage of the looser tolerance for cursing, etc. on their new network. Not that I want them to try and step up to South Park's level in that department or anything, but maybe a few goddammit's or some dry humping robots could be used effectively.

not at all. Not a fan of futurama. But I would rather watch a week's worth of futurama than watch half of a family guy episode.

^^ I would love to see what they could do to step Futurama up a bit too like SP. That would be pretty interesting...

I say Fry and Leela are in a relationship- they have officially kissed now and let's face it, there have been hints since forever. They belong together, Fry has done so much to win her heart, and at the episode weeks ago, turning into a mutant, for her confirms for me their true feelings.

Love this show and cannot wait for its return!!! Just like SP and the Simpsons, pretty much all characters on it rock. Although I do not like Zap Branigan at all, hate characters like that. Poor Pip has to work with that fool..

Zap is supposed to be a ridiculous, stupider caricature of Star Trek's Captain Kirk. So if one is not familiar with that reference it may detract from his appeal.

Interesting trivia:
The voice of Zap Brannigan was originally going to be frequent Simpsons guest star Phil Hartman, but unfortunately, he was murdered by his suicidal wife while Futurama was still in development, so they had Billy West do it.

Resurrecting my old topic to bring the news that Futurama has been renewed again! 26 new episodes have been ordered. they'll be split up into two 13 episode seasons, just like the first order. these two new seasons will air in 2012 and 2013. This news has really made me relieved. I had been waiting for the news since the end of the last season last year.
