In capitalism, money matters more than anything - even people's lives. Money is power, and those with power want to use that power to make more money and have more power...to make more money.
Capitalism and the "free market" benefit when there are no restrictions placed on the ability to make money. Employees not paid enough to live? Oh, well, the guy at the top is still making millions.
Corporation not making enough money? Time to lay off the people at the bottom in order of who is the least "productive" so the millionaires at the top can keep their millions.
The people with the power over the internet basically want to create an artificial scarcity to justify charging people more money for tiers of access. Net Neutrality (the real form of Net Neutrality, not this bullsh*t voted on by the FCC) is, in theory, supposed to prevent schemes like this from gouging the general public.
Yeah, and we can't let the FCC get away with fake net neutrality! Count me in and sign this petition shown here:
http://act2.freepress.net/go/1486?akid= ... 7kboYt&t=5
BUT: There are lawsuits and Judicial matters still pending before this "Neutrality" can go into affect.
and I also believe that Congress has to pass this too next leglislation, and thanks to real non-liberal dipshits, the house gained a lot of conservatives who hate this idea!!
So the liberal media is making a big fuss over nothin because it won't happen. It CANNOT happen. Too many people know that this will give Comcast/Verizon too much power and will destroy the internet as we know it.
Plus did I mention all the FEES that will be added for free sites today!?!
All Comcast/Verizion want is people to stop using free Wifi and the Apple ipod cause...waa! their losing money!
here's a newsflash: Tough sh*t!
Back and still causing havoc one post at a time.
