Re: Daylight Saving Time Mega-Thread
It seems like, for the last few years, the BBS has been the first place I've been reminded of daylight savings time. It's uncanny. I couldn't tell you how many times in a row this has happened. Not even thinking about it, I got to SPSBBS and oh yeah, daylight savings time.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Well, it was five years ago today, when the new Daylight Saving Time rules took effect on the exact same Sunday, on March 11, 2007. Look at how the years have gone by.

Still the same as it ever was.

I don't notice if anyone else noted that I-phone users phone went a little off last night. Clocks change at 2:00, in the fall they fall back, in the spring they spring forward, well at 2 on my I-phone it went from 2 to 1. I though I was crazy, but sure enough a minute later Apple corrected it and it was 3:02. The only reason I bring this up is to ask if anyone else noticed the little glitch.
South Park is amazing and anyone who doesn't think so should learn how to Respect My Authoritah! LOL South Park Rulez!

Re: Daylight Saving Time Mega-Thread
It's that time again
On Sunday, November 4th at 2:00 AM we "fall back." So we get to have "2:00 AM" twice on Sunday, in effect making November 4th a 25 hour day.
Funny how "standard time" is returning, yet we only have it until March 10, 2013 when Daylight Savings Time returns.

We might as well start calling "standard time" "Daylight Spendings" now that it's way shorter.

I agree 100%; most of our year is on daylight time so that is now in essence our new standard, everyday time. Perhaps the current daylight time should be called standard time, and the current standard time should be called winter time or something ?
Anyway, SPS board members, it is this week-end. Set your clocks back one hour before you go to sleep on Saturday

This year Daylight Saving Time in the US begins:
Sunday, March 10 @ 2:00 am local time
Standard time returns:
Sunday, November 03 @ 2:00 am local time.

Just remember:
If you don't set your clocks ahead for Daylight Savings this Sunday, you're LITERALLY "gonna have a bad time!"

Holy crap, it's Daylight Savings already? Damn, that was fast. I keep forgetting how short "normal" time is now.
I'll be ready this time.

It's that time of year again! Time to check your profile and select "Yes" on "Summer Time/DST in effect", and then click "Select".

Still the same as it ever was.
