My gf's folks have clocks that adjust automatically as well. They're those "atomic clocks."

Well yeah, my tv boxes, computers and internet radio auto-update, but I mean my BBS time display is apparently still set to DST, and I never noticed.
Ooh, I got Aunt Mary an atomic clock with temp and barometer display. It is pretty cool.

Re: Daylight Saving Time Mega-Thread
I see I never switched mine to normal time last fall. Oh well, problem solved! And I didn't even notice.
I finally changed the clock in my vehicle today after realizing my little road trip was not as short as had previously appeared.

Re: Daylight Saving Time Mega-Thread
For anyone out of the loop, Daylight Saving Time ended this morning at 2:00 am; that is, we went from 1:59 am back to 1:00 am
Welcome to Standard Time. Not so standard, imo, as "standard time" lasts only a short time. "Daylight time" lasts for much longer during the year.
In 2014:
Daylight Saving Time returns (in the US for those areas/States that
observe it) on:
Sunday, March 9, 2014 @ 2:00 am.
Standard Time returns on:
Sunday, November 2, 2014 @ 2:00 am.

*****EDIT*****
Don't forget to go into your profile, board preferences and take off summer time in effect

Well, we're a week away from Daylight Saving Time 2014.
Not today, Oscar Sunday, but next week. Next week, 2:00 am won't exist; it will be 3:00 am.
Daylight Saving Time starts Sunday, March 9, 2014 and ends on Sunday, November 2, 2014

I'll be ready. Sure, we miss an hour's sleep, but it only means it will be darker later in the day, and I'll definitely be looking forward to that!

Re: Daylight Saving Time Mega-Thread
Just a reminder for "spring ahead" for 2014:
Tonights the night
In a few hours, there will be no 2:00 am Sunday; we jump to 3:00 am.
Set your (non-automatic) clocks now!
*EDIT*
And, don't forget to go into your profile and change your time settings as well. Under "Summer Time/DST is in effect: yes/no" change to YES

Re: Daylight Saving Time Mega-Thread

Here we are again! For those of you in the U.S., and other areas that follow these particular dates, this is the weekend to set your non-automatic clocks BACK one hour as Standard Time returns.
Remember, FALL BACK tonight at 2:00 am. In fact, after 1:00 am Daylight Time, an hour later will be 1:00 am again, only in Standard Time. So two 1:00 am's tonight

However, as interesting, October 26, we moved the time back an hour too, seems forever.

Yeah, this site here has non-automatic clocks. Fortunately, I got to the board preferences on my profile and made sure to click on "No" at the "Summer Time/DST in effect" setting. So I'm all set now.
