Thanks angeldeb82. This time around I completely forgot about that! I just went into my profile/board settings and unchecked "Summer Time/DST In Effect" and selected "No."

Re: Daylight Saving Time Mega-Thread
This Sunday, March 8 at 2:00 am, Daylight Saving Time goes back into effect. Remember to change all of your non-automatic clocks, displays, microwave oven clocks, etc.
Also, go to preferences here at South Park Studios, and check "yes" for the setting "Summer Time In Effect?"
And, they say that's also a good time to change your batteries in your smoke detectors!
Daylight Saving Time has really become the new "standard time," imo, because the number of days of standard time are now so few compared to summer time.

Re: Daylight Saving Time Mega-Thread
I forgot that Daylight Saving Time ends today, so please set your clocks back one hour. BTW, is anyone having trouble changing the time on your profile on these boards?
Still the same as it ever was.
Re: Daylight Saving Time Mega-Thread
Idk, let me see...
Well, I don't see an option for DST, so I just changed my time zone. :/

Re: Daylight Saving Time Mega-Thread
Change it again. When you do, a suggested time zone should appear to the right. Select that and you're good to go.BRMBug wrote:Idk, let me see...

Re: Daylight Saving Time Mega-Thread
Just a heads up: In a few weeks, Sunday March 13 at 2:00 am, DST will return in the U.S.
Most devices set themselves automatically, but not all. Don't forget to manually change your DST setting here on the board.

How many states so FU to DLST? That issue right there may make me move someday.

Hawaii it is. Flagstaff is the only part of Arizona I could live in. The rest of the state (sorry if I offend) just kinda sucks.Big-Will wrote:Arizona and Hawaii.

Okay, guys! This is the weekend! At 2:00 am on Sunday, March 13, well there WON'T be a "2:00 am" on Sunday. We will go straight from 1:59:59 am to 3:00:00 am!

It occurs to me I only need to adjust the time on the microwave these days. Everything else does it automatically.
(Obviously I don't have a nice, classy clock on the wall.)

Let's see... 2 mantle clocks, 2 vcr's (they used to update automatically, but that was through the analog tuner), clock on the boombox in the kitchen, my MCFLY! clock radio, the clock in the bathroom... I think Dad has 2 alarm clocks, but only really sets one (which really drives my mild OCD insane)... that should be it. OH! and my watch.

Wow! It seems that the DST settings on these forums are now automatic... I think.
Still the same as it ever was.
