Celebrity Deaths 2012

Re: Celebrity Deaths 2012
Not to bring this off topic, but false death reports piss me off! Even though, ABC News, ESPN, and CBS News all reported it online earlier today....As of the time I write this (11PM on 1/22/12) Joe Paterno is NOT Dead....at least, *yet*.
Although I expect this to be otherwise in the near future and he WILL be a celebrity death we will (honor) in this 2012 thread, I would like it if people respect the news and the honor of the "confirmation" of one's passing. I'm begining to learn that just because the news has reported it, doesn't necessarily mean it is true, until all information is out, and a formal report/announcement has been made.
The news media is up in arms about being in a race mode to announce this person or that person as 'dead'. For pete's sake it even happened with Barack Obama and f*ckin Fox News last year
My point being, is that unless it has been formally announced, it shouldn't be speculated. And I apologize for last year and all the sh*t of Zsa Zsa Gabor "dying"...and yet...she's still alive just like Dick Cheney (They won't die!!)
So until an announcement has been made, all I can say is that Joe Paterno is hospitalized at State College, PA in "critical" condition, and that his condition has deteriorated, and it's POSSIBLE that he will be (officially) added to this list in the coming days

RTL: I love being a dick to people for no reason. It makes me feel better about how my mom smacks me around with a frozen T Bone steak.

Someone should also be prepared to add Baseball Hall of Famer Gary Carter, who is gravely ill with cancer as well.

Aww, you beat me to it. But still, a bit sad and controversial. R.I.P., Joe.

No, I've been working. I get on and browse when I can though.
I kind of remember James Farantino from ER. It has been about 15 years since I've seen it though.
