Anyone here still like Legos?
There are many kinds of toys stretching from: Barbies, GI Joe, Transformers, Hot Wheels, dolls, the ones that come with Happy Meals, even homemade toys. Like most children growing up, I used to play with toys. But none of them, were anywhere as fun as Legos, in my opinion. Even as an adult, I still continue to love Legos. Eventhough I don't play with them anymore, I still collect and build them. I have an emormous collection, including Star Wars Legos (those were always fun).
Even if you don't play with them (I don't, still), is there anyone here who likes Legos?
(I actually own a creation kit that has everything needed to make your own legos, I'm surprised it actually works)

got an interesting app for my phone; lego camera! Look it up in the app store, android marketplace, etc.
It takes existing pics you have, or allows you to take new pics, and then the app changes EVERYTHING in the pic to look like the pic is made out of legos
Yes, I like legos

I still have a good number of different Lego sets from over the years!
Of course, by now, most of the stuff is blended all together. I'll pull out the bucket of 'em for when my niece comes to visit.

Re: Anyone here still like Legos?
The fun thing about Legos is that if you've played with them enough, they become a permanent piece of the house. We probably had 20 pounds of Legos by the time my brothers and I grew up. I even tried to sort them at one point in big tub with homemade dividers. Then years later, we're helping my folks do some remodeling and we just start finding random Legos under the carpet, in the cold air returns, and literally inside the damn walls.
The absolute best thing about Legos is the consistency of how they fit together. Brand new Legos fit perfectly on ones 30 years old. So whoever breeds first among my siblings, their offspring can inherit an excellent stash of Legos to supplement any new shit they get. That's cool.

^ Obviously you've been deprived (not depraved; don't get the two mixed up) as a child if you don't like Legos.

0_0 How the hell'd you manage that?!?
I only have a small Lego "briefcase" full of 'em, and a couple of kits. I haven't messed with them in years though.
We sell them at Fry's, and I find myself constantly amazed at how many different kits there are, and also how expensive they've gotten.

I thought lego came in tubs? That's how i got mine. Then again i only got basic brick sets. I can't find pics on google images of the kind of tubs i had i think it's old because my grandad gave them to me, and he usually buys old sh*t.

There's a whole theme park in Southern California in Carlsbad (north of San Diego) called: Legoland. People seem to like it
