Are you refering to this tragic event:

As tragic as it may have been, and I am sorry those families, but I'm not gonna let that get in the way of me seeing this movie.

I was going to see it tonight but we couldn't get tickets. Tomorrow's the night I guess?
I'd prefer we didn't give this nutter the attention he wants.
I re-watched batman begins and was reminded how much i disliked it. I'm a huge fan of Nolan's other work so i hope this takes after the one it shares part of a name with more than begins.

Everybody's a film critic...
/tasteless joke

Warner Bros. did move to pull trailers for its upcoming movie “Gangster Squad” from showings of “The Dark Knight Rises.” The trailer of the film, which stars Sean Penn and Ryan Gosling in a ruthless war between ‘40s Los Angeles police and the mob, includes a scene of mobsters firing into a movie theater from behind the screen. It wasn’t immediately clear if the trailer played before the Aurora theater audience.

Oh, terrible irony.

Good thing it's super easy to buy assault weapons in the United States still. I know I feel safer...

That trillogy (or at least the last entries in it) seem to have an amount of tragedy following them. TDK had Heath Ledger, and now TDKR has the whole Colorado thing...all I have to say about THAT one is that oh my god do people fail...

But with all that aside, I thought TDKR was f*cking awesome. I think Spider-Man might be my favorite of this year's super hero movies, but going to this thing's midknight screening (yes, I purposefully spelled it like that, what of it) was one of the most memorable experiences I've had in a movie theater in ages. There were parts in that movie where there was not a PEEP out of the audience, despite the fact that EVERY SEAT had someone in it. It was one of the coolest things ever and it really helped amplify the intensity of the movie as a whole. WORTH SEEING!..though do be prepared for confusion if you haven't seen Batman Begins. :P

I plan on seeing it tomorrow with my dad, who was a huge comic book fan growing up. (And my heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to the families of those who died in the Colorado tragedy as well as those who survived the senseless attack. That sh*t wasn't necessary, but some people just have to be asshats for the sake of being an asshat, huh?)

didn't get to see it today like I planned. Nor did I get to do any of the other things I planned to do today, but I digress.
I will definitely be catching it tomorrow.

Everyone who wanted to see it already saw it. :) I went to the 4 pm show this afternoon at the Regency Plant 16 and the theater was rather empty. I'm sure they're full at this hour.

Damn it's a long movie. 2 hours 47 minutes.

At the end of the first hour a speaker blew and a loud buzz woke me up (action sequences sometimes put me to sleep, heh), so there was an impromptu 10 minute intermission. No more issues after that.

Good movie. :)

That's not necessarily true. I haven't gone to see it yet, and I really wanna see it! (I had a plan to go with my buddy down to Texas City and catch a midnight screening Thursday night, but things fell through. So I'm gonna catch it with my dad in Baytown this weekend.)

Out of three movies Christopher Nolan made, this has got to be his best. Its sad the trilogy has come to a close. But as a wise man once, "All good things come in 3's."
