Man of Steel

Now that almost everyone (well, maybe everyone) has seen The Dark Knight Rises, I think I'm looking forward to this movie:

Anyone else? (you'll probably be ready by then, since it doesn't release until mid-2013)

I'm definitely gonna check it out. I don't know how Nolan will make Supes come off as, well, realistic, but that's part of the allure of the thing, isn't it? It kinda makes me wish 2013 would get here already.

I wondered how Superman had escaped the contemporary super hero movie blitz for so long.

They did ones I had never heard of before they were movies.

Nolan's going to have to scale back the scope of Superman's powers in order to make a movie I'd even consider seeing. He's pretty much like Bulrog; he has the power to have all powers. Flying, heat vision, impervious to literally everything except "Krytonite"; the muthafucka even makes time itself his bitch. It's too much.
And they may need a new day job for Clark Kent:,28718/

I might check it out the fact that Christopher Nolan is involved is intriguing enough. The films definitely needed a reboot especially after Superman Returns. I'm like that they're using General Zod for the villain since he's a credible threat but still wish they were using a villain that hasn't appeared in the films before.
