Eminem or Marilyn Manson?

I like Eminems music more. But now he is starting to annoy me. I really can't stand rap, it is so repetitive. (To me anyways)
But I did hear a version of "This Is Halloween" done my Manson, and I fell in love with it.
(Plus I think Manson is smarter than Eminem)

I take that back. It's not only twelve year olds who buy his CDs (although they're the majority). It's mostly naive people of whatever age, just like you who can't even detect sarcasm.

i'd like all the marilyn manson haters to take a moment and listen to the sh*t spurting out of your mouths...or fingers in this case... get a clue before you bash an artist who you dont listen to and have a grudge against purely because christian america does.

For your information, I used to be a huge Manson fan when I was as dumb as you are. I've heard every single song he's ever written. And I'm not religious, and I hate America.

Get a clue. I don't hate Manson because I think he's a freak or because I think he's dangerous. I dislike him for the exact opposite reason. He's pathetic. Satanism is so 1970's, and Manson isn't even that scary to look at. Little kids are usually the ones who are too blind to notice the fact that he's a normal human being who thinks he's special just because he can afford a lot of make-up and wigs and he has the guts to wear a dress.

I know he doesn't kill animals. He's too much of a pussy to do something like that. So before you tell me not to stereotype your fellow fans of Manson, first don't stereotype people who dislike him and group us with those fundamentalist conservative Christains.

He actually does. Just because he's a metal artist doesn't mean he's a dummy. He went to school for a full 12 years and actually went to college for a little while. He's an educated individual.

He is a well-educated man. But what does that have to do with his musical talents? Nothing (and no, he didn't go to college for music). Jeordie White wrote most of his good songs. If you read his autobiography, you would see how self-absorbed he is, and how he pretends like he's special and the spawn of Satan when he's really just an ordinary guy who pays other people to do his sh*t. I listen to music for the quality of the sound, not the quality of someone's intelligence. He should have been a scientist or something like that. The songs I like are written by other members of his band (even though all of those members were fired by now which was a huge mistake on Manson's part).

I never cringe when I see him or hear him say dark things. I laugh most of the time. If he thinks he's too good to wear jeans and a T-shirt or make his face look normal, that automatically shows an ego problem. He doesn't even scare me. If I ever saw him I would probably make fun of him.

Marilyn Manson just tries to shock. There are some that say his music is deep. I myself dont think so. I also agree though that he is very intelligent. I have seen him in various interviews where he is not a shocker, but just an average dude. Ive listened to some of his music and, to me, it just seems that he is trying too much to shock and not enough to create great songs.
Eminem, on the other hand, sometimes also makes this mistake, but some of his songs are entertaining to listen to and have an issue to address.
Thats why I pick Eminem. I am not particularly a rap fan, but there are a few songs I like.
