I do not hate Walmart because they are a large corporation, I just think their stores are oversized and sleezy. I can buy everything I need from other stores for around the same price, sometimes cheaper.

It been about 5 months since I have needed to step inside a Walmart.

Walmart's not that bad. Whenever I need something and I don't too much cash on me, I go there.

Hell no, i love walmart. Its got a huge variety of practically anything(except CDs and games) I need for a nice price. I usually buy some of my groceries there, too. Besides, i live in an area where everything is as expensive as a Russian hooker. Not that i know how much a russian hooker is, i'm just guessing......

I'm impartial to them, since I've never been to one. I would point out though that, in fairness, they don't exactly underpay their workers. Wal-Mart has all kinds of job positions, from floor jobs to pharmacy, and their employees are paid according to what kind of job they do. Their lowest paying position comes to about twice the minimum wage.

We do have a Target in the area though, and I guess they're okay.

I'm much more partial to Costco though, since there's one I've been going to for years now. Unlike Wal-Mart, which will just sell you ONE crappy little item at a time, Costco has bulk purchases and much better savings. They don't waste money on advertising, they reuse boxes instead of wasting bags, and their food handling was rated the most sanitary out of any chain. Plus, their wages and benefits put Wal-Mart's to shame.

The only problem is, good luck finding any one specific item, since they tend to shuffle their merchandise fairly frequently, depending on what is most affordable for them to stock.

I'm indifferent to Wallmart, since there isn't one around my immediate home area. Target and Costco are much closer anyway. ;)

I've never been to a Costco. I have been to Sam's (same thing but Wal-mart related), but not since the early 90's.

God I was so high when I started this poll...I hate the fact that there is a Walmart in my town and it has put a lot of the stores around it out of buisness which pisses me off. The workers are underpaid and thier stuff is crap. Sure things may be a few bucks cheaper, but it's not worth it if people are being put out of work and forced to find other jobs because Walmart is shutting down the smaller businesses. It just bugs me. the only reason I go is when I'm forced by my parent of whoever, and then I just go to shoplift crap...I know I'm a bad person
