Matt and Trey compare their show to music because they say each season they make is like an album created from an artist.
I compare their show to music because each season is like a genre, each episode is like a band, there are amazing ones in every genre, and there are terrible ones in every genre just as there are amazing episodes in every season and terrible ones in every season.
