I say Twenty-ten, it fits with the 20th century pattern I am used to, I am tired of saying "Two-thousand-X" sh*t.

Bug.... I am disappoint.

You all fail. We didn't say one-thousand-nine-hundred-ninety-nine, did we?

Redundancy.

:/ I'll probably just wind up saying "ten" like how I was saying "oh-eight" and "oh-nine".

What sounds better?

"Back in Ten..."

"Back in Twenty-ten..."

"back in Two-thousand-ten..."

I HONESTLY think that saying it as twenty-ten and two-thousand-ten are both good, but twenty-ten is EASIER! :D

As a certified grammar Nazi, I will only say two thousand ten.

As a certified something, I would like to point out that that has nothing to do with grammar, I spelt them out in order to show the pronunciation. If you want it to be correct to the way you would say that number if it was not a year, fine, but this is not grammar.

It is much simpler to say it as "twenty-ten".

^I think saying twenty-ten makes you sound strange in different ways.

As a minor (younger than 18) Some stupid asswipe who thinks he's cool.

Between 18-65: Some adult that's out of touch with reality and attempts to "hip with the kids"

65 and over: (As in "back in twenty-ten...") Some redneck disabled man in a rocking chair playing a banjo.

No, it's always been said the way I say it. But the way you want to say it is winning, because people just don't get it.

Americans are just stupid. I bet they say it the way I do in a smarter country like England or Australia.

Just because I don't like to sound like an asswipe that thin ks he's cool doesn't mean I'm stupid. In fact, quite the opposite.

WFM, you're mean.
You just broke Christopher Columbus' heart.
He hates you now, and completely regrets ever having sexual relations with you.

So sad to see yet another relationship die.
