I don't really care either way, but I selected his old voice.

In the earlier seasons, I loved how he'd yell at his mom and Mr. Kitty in a pitch so high, it'd shatter your television screen.

I LOVE Cartman's old voice. It was so gruff and squeaky that it was hilarious. His "newer" voice sounds too much like Stan's IMO (no duh, they are played by the same person :P ), but his "older" voice doesn't suit his character anymore.

I liked the old squeeky cartman best, especially when he started freaking out, and since I cant find anywhere else to put it...howcome south park is being censored on tv now, and even bleeped on the site on season 14.

I liked Cartman better when he was a whiny little sh*t. He is awsome as a manipulative assh*le also don't get me wrong but he was always funny nomatter what he did when he had the whinevoice. NO KITTEY THATS MY POT PIE!

I'ma go with the old-school Cartman voice. As for the character himself, I think he was at his best mid-series.

While I understand that with computers Trey can make Cartman sound like Cartman by upping the octaves three times about normal; but for me, nothing compares to the way the voice sounded without computer enhancement. So I voted for the old (original) voice.

It didn't really matter to me; his voice is fun to listen to either way.

The subject of voices and how they sounded early on is nothing new. Some voices take a little longer than others to establish, and in Cartman's case (or basically, most of South Park), I guess it took quite some time. I remember how Terrance & Phillip's voices were thrown around some in Death before finally settling on what each one should sound like.

It's a practice that dates back to Mickey Mouse. Yes, even when he was given HIS voice (orig. by Walt Disney himself), they experimented here and there!

I love both voices, but I voted new. The way he says 'athoritah' is funny but gets old. Same with 'herah'. Funny but, something I don't mind changed. Imo he sounds like Stan no matter what, both old voice and new. The fact that Stan's voice changed as the years went by made Cartman's sound diff too. Both sounded whinier seasons 1-4ish. I do wish he was whinier again, I miss the ' But Meeeeeeeeemmm!!!!' It's easier to understand Eric in the new voice. I dunno, I like both.
I love: Stan, Butters, Cartman, Sharon.

I ship: Stan/Cartman <3

Stan: MMOOMM!!
Sharon: What is it honey? (gasp!) My baby's killed again!
Haa, I love that line.

I prefer his old one. His new one sounds like all adult-like and mature while his old one sounds child-like and scratchy.

I like whatever voice I'm use to at the time and I'm more use to his newer voice now.

The original voice is the best. I love when he used to say "Screw you guys, I'm going home."
