List of movies which have been parodied in South Park

Postby SPF4L#1 » Sun Nov 13, 2005 3:37 pm

I tried this a while back, but it died out, so I'm giving it another go.

Let's try to compile a list of all the movies which SP has, in some way, parodied. Please post the name of the movie and the episode in which it was parodied. It doesn't have to be the format of the whole episode, it can be as little as one scene or idea. Or if it's not a movie but a TV Show, game etc. you can list that too.

I'll start with a few:

- Lord of the Rings (Return Of The Lord of the Rings to the Two Towers)
- Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (Starvin Marvin In Space)
- Raiders of the Lost Arc (Free Hat)
- The Core (Die Hippie Die)
- Rocky (The Losing Edge)
- They Live (Cripple Fight)
- Jaws (Grey Dawn)
- Silence of the Lambs (Toilet Paper)
- The Day After Tomorrow (Two Days before the Day After Tomorrow)
- The Matrix (Something Wal-Mart This Way Comes)

Add more
If you can be bothered...please check out this poll:

Asspen was a parody of some 80's movie, though I'm not sure what it was called.

They parodied The Wizard of Oz in It's Christmas in Canada.

Me too. My favorite line in the episode was "Would you like a mustache?"

I also liked when Kyle punched Cartman and Cartman started crying like a baby. :P

If we can do TV shows and books, 'Professor Chaos' was a parody of 'The Bachelor' seriers on ABC, and 'Pip' was a parody of Charles Dickens' story, "Great Expectations".

In that case, The Mexican Staring Frog of Southern Sri Lanka was a parody of Jerry Springer. (Even though one of the audience members referred to Jesus as Montel.) The "Too Hot For TV" commercial kinda gave that away. :P

[quote="IneedBoutTREEFIDDY":513e2]Asspen was a combination of about every 80's ski movie made.[/quote:513e2] Not necessarily ski. Insert any sport to that same super weak plot.

Let's see, what other movies can I think of off the top of my head without cheating and looking them up?

Star Trek First Contact (Ginger Kids, Fingerbang, Timmy)
Alien (Spooky Fish)
those sh*tty Rob Schnieder movies (Biggest Douche)
Team America (Wing)
Braveheart (Starvin Marvin)
Night of the Living Dead (Pinkeye, Ginger Kids)
Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (Wacky Molestation Adventure)
Lord of the Flies (Wacky Molestation Adventure)
You Got Served (hope that one's screamingly obvious)
Jerry McGuire (Succubus)
Babe (An Elephant f*cks a Pig)
Road Warrior (Passion of the Jew)

That's enough for now.
