When was south park at it's best?

In my opinion it was season 5-7, then it started to get less funny, mainly because of lack of classic characters and the plots just wen't below the South Park average.

But present south park is still watchable but i consider it to be far from it's classic episodes.

Seasons 8 and 10 are by far the all time best

SP was at its best around season 5. M&T sorta lost it in season 6, like, with killing Kenny off, they'd sorta killed off old-style SP. Season 7 was subpar (I'm a Lil' Bit Country and Raisins were classics though), though from them on things only got better, with a mix of satirical episodes and good old-fashioned absurdity.

Yea, really. Another "Jewbilee" type of episode, just absurd and weird and not political, would be refreshing.

i think season 9 is sooooo the best. they're just so funny there. next i like season 10, but it's not finished, so i don't really have an opinion about it ...

they've always made a political statement on the show. SP has been at it's best from season 2-present IMO at least.

I think that 2 is the best of the "early" era as I think of it (1-4) which are really in a separate category to me. Of the newer stuff, 6 was great, but 8 was a total masterpiece. 10 hasn't been looking so good.

6 was their sgt. pepper, 8 was their abbey road...if that makes sense.

Season six or eight was the best season. The worst seasons were one and two, but that's when they were just starting the show.

South Park's always been at it's best, but if I had to pick I'd say seasons 6-8 were the best. Season 9 was good, season 10 is pretty good so far...but every season is a "classic", season 9 did have some great moments, like Two Days, Die Hippie Die and Marjorine were all really good episodes. South Park's always been at it's best but alot of my favourite episodes were around seasons 6-8.

I don't like the first season so much.. Compared to 2-10 it sucks.. But.. The first season has it moments, but just not that kick-ass moments like 2-10 IMO!
