What's The Best Musical Moment?

Postby salamander » Sun Nov 26, 2006 7:46 pm

It can be a whole song, a few seconds, or even background stuff.

For me it's a tie: 1. "Push it to the limit" - from Cartman in the Special Olympics. Was used in Scarface.

2. "Let's Fighting Love" from Fun with Weapons- brilliant and incredibly funny. Read the translation and die laughing.

Honorable mention to a recent episode with a Paul Stanley song- I believe it might have been in World of Warfare. That song is f***ing awesome!!!

I love the bits in "The Jeffersons". Cartman and um, Mr Jefferson were perfect together.

I also like Cartman's sea-people song in "Simpsons's Did It".

God, there are loads. I wish they'd put them all together on another CD :D

Live to win from 'Make love not Warcraft' was pretty cool. What really makes me laugh is when Cartman sings In the Ghetto by Elvis in 'Chickenpox'.

La Resistance, from the movie.

Montage, from Asspen.

I don't count musical moments that have songs sung by people other than Trey.

I love to see A Very Crappy Christmas coz that ep is
full of musical moments !!
Mr.Hunkey and his son's 'Lion King' thing and Stan and Kyle's 'The nightmare before Christmas' thing which
I'm not so sure.
When Kyle's face unexpectidly changed, it scared me a lot though

1: Lets Fighting Love is brilliant, sounds perfectly like an anime theme, I lol'd so hard at "Protect my balls".

2: The song used in the Mormins episode, I'm not sure what its called, but it was great.

3: La Resistance, which is my favourite.

SP has always had some of the best choice of songs present.

That wasn't "Nightmare," although the change of face may lead to them.

That face, as well as the song, was a take on a '70s "Night Before Christmas," and was modeled after the Rankin/Bass animation style, like in the old Rudolph/Frosty/other Xmas specials of that time.

"Death Camp of Tolerance" also featured songs of that kind while Lemmiwinks went on his journey up through Mr. Slave. For specifics, check "The Hobbit" ('77) and listen mostly for the score by Glenn Yarborough. Then let me know whether you felt your skin crawl.

All songs of SP episode "Christian Rock" are wonderful. Seeing cartman in this way is too funny. I've a desktop background of Faith + 1... hehe
But I love also "kyle's mom's is a Bit**"... It's simply the best
