Seriously, i'm so happy!!! Not all good things come to an end...like in other ways SP breaks the mould. Infact it smashes moulds into smithereens!

As a viewer, it definately sucks that we have to wait until October for the rest of season 12. For a network executive, however, it's gotta be gold. I imagine Comedy Central knows very well they're going to have a high viewer rating that one night, and they'll take full advantage of it. If "ratings" is nothing more than a numbers game, then a high-yield show like South Park is a good card to play.

On our end, however: Maybe we'll get lucky and three months will fly by like magic.

I'll be watching new episodes through 2011!

Hopefully longer ! YAY!

I know that Matt and Trey have the capability to make this show run forever, and make a spot in history for the length of the series....

its pretty obvious that they will of course make an episode depicting the 2008 elections. they should use ron paul in it. tahts my idea lol.

Matt did mention in one of the interviews (on this site) that one of his goals was to beat the simpsons and referred to them as mother f*s... If the hold true to their goals it may take a while but then SP will b around for a while!
