Ash (from Evil Dead / Army of Darkness): Very effective against any Undead Evils.
Frylock: Very intellegent, a science wiz, can float and shoot electric beams, and, best of all, is a box of french fries.
Indiana Jones: Adventurer, anthropologist, and archeologist all in one.
Jay and Silent Bob (joined at the hip!): Would add the comic relief, plus Bob's an electrical genius. motherf*cker's like MacGyver, no motherf*cker's BETTER than MacGyver!
Link: The ultimate video game hero would battle any enemies with magical abilities.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: The legendary Jedi Knight is strong with the Force.
Optimus Prime: A robot in disguise. 'Nuff said.
V (from V for Vendetta): Chairman of the board. A political activist and martyr would get the deeds of justice done at any cost.
Wolverine: Possesses a healing factor that makes him near impossible to kill, senses to predatory levels, and an indestructable adamantium skeleton and claws. I f*cking DARE you to find someone that could kick this guy's ass in a fight... other than Magneto.

Now, this is a challenge! What would each member be capable of? Let's see...
1. The Doctor (Doctor Who)--When the odds are slim, you can't beat his scientific mind. The one snag: Which incarnate? The classic Tom Baker? The current David Tennant? You know, Christopher Eccleston wasn't bad during his year.
2. Harry Potter--Best against any magical evils.
3. Sonic the Hedgehog--Best in any emergency.
4. SpongeBob SquarePants--He's optimistic and enthusiastic enough to keep morale up.
5. Batman ('90s version)--Sharp detective skills can help plan their next move.
6. San Diego (Famous) Chicken--Silent baseball mascot can deliver signals when necessary.
7. Duke Nukem--Can lug a closetful of arsenal.
8. Donald Duck--Can be very effective once infuriated.
9. Velma (from Scooby-Doo)--The brains of her old gang, and also to make up for lack of females in the Council.

Let's see I'd have:
Master Chief
Lisa Simpson
Spock
Dr. Perry Cox
Stewie Griffin
Kyle Brovfloski
Riley Freeman
James Bond
Hobbes
That would be a wise Council of Nine.

Geraldine Grainger (Vicar; Insight into all matters of faith, religion, and chocolate)
Gandalf the Grey (Wizard; You know, he is a pretty wise old man, and you can't go wrong there.)
Dr. Gregory House (Medical Doctor, A-hole; Great medical mind right nah.)
Dr. Emmett L. Brown (Scientist, Inventor; Well you have to have a scientist now don't you?)
Aunt Pearl Burras (Housewife; Despite never having children herself, she's very motherly of her nephew Stanley, she always knows what to say and to do to make you feel better, and the woman makes a damn fine potato salad.)
Alan Shore (Lawyer; Great legal mind, Master debator.
)
Brock Samson (OSI Agent, Bodyguard; No other reason except that he's Brock f*cking Samson!)
Melinda Gordon (Ghost "Whisperererer", Nice piece; Supernatural liaison... and like I said, nice piece.)
I figure The Council could use a Private Investigator for the gathering of intel; but I can't decide on Laura Holt or Veronica Mars. Laura started her own agency (businesswoman) albeit on the heels of a fictitious man, but she was able to keep that, and the past of RS a secret the whole time. Veronica however was able to juggle being a full time student, and P.I.-ing. She seems like she could handle anything, but then again so does Laura.
Honorable mention: Betty Butterfield (Housewife; Bat-shit insane, but has a mysterious wisdom about her.)

I say Brock'd give him a run for his money.marvel_freak_42 wrote:Wolverine: Possesses a healing factor that makes him near impossible to kill, senses to predatory levels, and an indestructable adamantium skeleton and claws. Re: What Would Have Been Your Counsel of Nine in Imaginationland
Ok, since most of you are explaining how your councils would be useful in an emergency, I shall follow suit.
Faust (Guilty Gear) Medical Professional & Highly Unpredictable Fighter
Geese (Fatal Fury/King of Fighters) Martial Arts Master
Terry Bogard (Fatal Fury/King of Fighters) Street Fighting Expert, Chairman
Captain America (Marvel Comic Books) The Greatest Superhero Ever Imagined, Period.
Mario (If you don't know what games Mario has been in, you should be ashamed) Greatest Jump, Expert At Rescue Missions (Especially those involving Princesses & giant Dragon-lizard things, or Gorillas)
Simon Belmont (Castlevania) Expert at Vampire Slaying & Wields a pretty mean whip.
Captain Falcon (F-Zero/Smash Bros.) Great Speed & Power & can provide Lightning quick transportation via the Blue Falcon.
Solid Snake (Metal Gear Solid) Expert at Espionage, Weapons, Combat, Camouflage, and will act as the team's intelligence.
Guile (Street Fighter) Hand to Hand Combat expert.

Re: What Would Have Been Your Counsel of Nine in Imaginationland
Samus- metroid- for her "flexability," adaptability to any situation that is.
Pyramid Head- Silen Hill 2- anyone who saw him would be too scared to move, and if they had any inner deamons AT ALL he could use them against them, but if they were innocent (like a kid, like Cartman, lol) they would be safe. He only rapes bad boys!
Darth Vader- - because I don't want to be his enemy. And he can destroy whole plannets, i'd like to see Jebus do THAT!
Captain Scarlet- because he's indistructable!
Saddam Hussain- the deamonised South Park version- for equality to his kind of person
Ubermensch- for being a harder, more german, version of the most super of superheroes, Superman, who was bitten by a radioactive super unlike spiderman.
Kenny- South Park- he comes back to life every other episode; jesus can only mannage that once every millenia or two!
God- why not?
Chuck Norris- that's why not!
