Postby y2k8 » Tue Jun 03, 2008 8:08 pm

Which cartoon moment/episode from south park or any other has touched you in anyway?
for me:sp the episode kenny dies followed by futurama episodes where Fry looks for his lucky clover and where he stops the cloning of his dog because he thought it would forget about him only to be shown a flash back of the dog waiting forever for him to come back

I got pretty teary-eyed watching Kenny Dies. Other than that, nothing in cartoons has really been very sad. Although, back when The Simpsons was good, my heart would sink whenever something happened that caused one of the main characters to feel terrible and that sad turn-for-the-worse music played.

Just remmembered the simpsons episode where flanders sets up the left hand store and homer wishes a curse on him and flanders went out of business and homer just watched it happen only for him to save flanders in the end.

Yeah, that's the kind of moment I was talking about in The Simpsons. Homer was walking through the mall and saw Flanders closing down the store, and he sort of dropped his mouth open and went, "Aw," and that sad music played. :(

In addition to ones that have been mentioned:

The scene in the Simpsons Movie where Marge leaves a videotaped message for Homer. That was pretty sad.

The end of the last episode of Futurama with Fry & Leela was another great, emotional moment. I think most of the sadness came from knowing (at the time) that this was the last time we'd see these characters and we'll never find out what happens next between those two.
