The worst way to end South Park?
(maybe this should be in Episode Speculation? :/)
I was thinking the other day, "What's the worst way that Trey could end South Park?" The number one idea that came to mind was to blow South Park the hell away, leaving a massive crater in the earth a-la Buffy.
So what do you think would be the worst way they could end South Park?

They just...don't renew it a-la Married...with Children.
Re: The worst way to end South Park?
End it with a Terrance and Phillip episode a la "Not Without My Anus." - the second to last episode will be a cliffhanger like "Cartman's Mom Is A Dirty Slut," with questions as to what the next episode would be about, and THEN the Terrance and Phillip episode, and no movie.

Re: The worst way to end South Park?
Will, to me that sounds like the best way to end it they could possibly choose. Totally Italian job, leaving an unanswered cliffhanger, and even better if they make a new terrence and phillip. No new movie would suck though, movies must be made when a seriese dies, it's the law nowdays, even stargate got'em!
Non reknewal would be the most likely death, but considering the show's schedule, they'd probably have time to make a final ever episode after hearing the news. I'd like them all to die except kenny, by a meteor or something, or a giant chicken hitting the planet and kiling everyone. Something totally stupid but cool at the same time.
Best way to end is not at all though, or at least, at it's peak.

The worst way to end South Park? That's easy. Having Trey Parker die unexpectedly in the middle of a run of episodes leaving his heterosexual life partner too devastated to continue with the show. So the entire thing just stops right then and there.
Think about it; one day we'd be speculating about what the next show will be about and the next day, the whole world just falls apart.

Re: The worst way to end South Park?
In episode 704, I'm A Little Bit Country, M & T really did something at the end of the episode to point out it was the 100th episode. That was great
But to end the series with something similar, such as "Well, folks, this is the last episode ever" or "Well, folks, this is the (insert number of episodes here) show, and it is the last episode ever" I think would be lame. You don't ask for the best way to end South Park, just the worst way to end South Park. So I won't comment on the best way to end it. I'll just say the worst way to end the entire series would be to end it by doing something as was done in "I'm A Little Bit Country."

Having Trey Parker die unexpectedly in the middle of a run of episodes
Is the only way I can see the show ever ending :p
Trey dying and seth green buying the rights to it and making a seriese would be the worst way to kill it.

In a sense though, that would be a perfect ending - "getting the audience back" for the uproar over the original NWMA 'April Fools' prank. As fans, we've all had a laugh at the world's expense. The only ones left to play a joke on is us!
I think another 'worst way' scenario would be just having a final episode that doesn't acknowledge the series' ending or it being the last in the series. Just one last regular SP episode and then nothing.

I was thinking that the evening I first saw this question.
Trey is a f*cking work-o-holic. Any project he's on....check the credits..
Producer: Trey Parker
Director: Trey Parker
Writer: Trey Parker
Starring: Trey Parker
Catering: Trey Parker
Fluff Boy: Trey Parker
It's like Gez! If something were to happen to Trey we would all be screwed...like...right up the ass.
Re: The worst way to end South Park?
He also the "honey-pot" handler.

XD. I think what Will said is one of the better ways to end the show.
i think the worst way to end the show is with an average episode without anything much happening. Not even dying or gore D:

I'm hoping when its finally time to put SP down (its not) that one character (cartman? butters? ) goes on a murderous rampage killing most other characters.
