South Park's longevity

Postby p51RidgeRunner » Wed Sep 30, 2009 1:19 am

I know South Park has been around a hell of a long time, hell to the f*ck ya, but how much longer does it have? It's been renewed through season 15 but how much more will Mat and Trey want to do after that? All I really hope for is that they beat the Simpsons. I don't even know why people still watch that show.

I highly doubt they'll go past 15.

They don't even know, they said that they know that they'll probably end up to be like Speilberg and Lucas when they get older and f*ck up South Park if they do it for too long and basically rape the boys, but at the end of each season they just kinda want to keep going...

I don't know, really, I just hope they keep making stuff after South Park.

They'll tap out soon enough.

Maybe when they hit 60. Trey turns 40 in a few weeks and he couldn't imagine himself doing the show past 40, but he'll be 41 or 42 when the show comes up for a new contract.

I would love for it to continue, so long as it's still funny. It should stop when it stops being funny in my opinion.

I know that if South Park were to never stop being aired, I would never stop watching. And when the day comes it'll be a sh*tty day.

The Simpsons have been around because they have devote followers like south park. With the Simpsons, seasons 4-10 are great. Their jokes are funny now as well as when they originally aired. This is were Family Guy falls short. (I had to get that shot at them). Simpsons seasons has around 21 episodes while South Park only has 14 episodes (since season 8). So to out do the Simpsons, South park should also produce more episodes than the Simpsons. (South Park 177, The Simpsons 443)

Matt and Trey, your show didn't get really great until season 5 or 6. I think your show while remain great by season 15. After that, who noes?
