NYC Car Bomb Linked to South Park?

The bomb was placed near the Viacom headquarters-- right there on Times Square
Here's the story from reuters:

But it does make you wonder, because there isn't a very broad history of car bombs in this country.

You mean car bombings that the news actually care about. In my town we had a couple truck bombs that were parked themselves right next to the court house. Was a fertilizer bomb and they didn't rig the explosion device correctly. Highly reported in local news, CNN didn't care.
Whether or not they're telling the truth, the Pakistani Taliban are claiming that they are behind this, and according to them it has NOTHING to do with South Park
"The Pakistani Taliban announced its responsibility for the New York attack in revenge for the two leaders al-Baghdadi and al-Mahajer and Muslim martyrs"
The source of the statement comes from "a website commonly used by Islamists". Anyone know what site this could be? I kind of want to read the original context.

I know there's been a lot of "explosion" type activity. We had the oil spill, the bomb, and the Boston wire pipe burst. I can't say that they are linked, but it could all be terrorist activity
> Al-Jazeera, maybe?
Yeah, that was my first guess, but if it was a site that big, you think it would've been referenced in the article. I checked the story on their site anyway, and they don't say which site the statement was issued on either. Since when does everyone keep stuff like that on the down low? We only heard what site threatened T&M about a million times in the news, and I'm sure most of us were completely unaware that it even existed before the incident.
