What if Kenny's not the only Immortal?

Postby neocarleen » Mon Feb 14, 2011 7:46 am

I just had a thought: what if there are other Immortals in South Park?

Nobody would be aware of it themselves unless they died. Kenny wouldn't know about it if he didn't have really bad luck. If he was never in lethal danger, he wouldn't know about his ability. There could be others who could respawn, but never had the opportunity.

Or, maybe there's another Immortal who has full knowledge of his/her ability, but hasn't told anybody (or nobody believed them). Nobody would remember their deaths either.

Thoughts?

Wow. Deep.
I wonder if Big Gay Al could be on that list? We already know he has the power of super gaydom, and that he disappeared into that suitcase and blinked back to wherever he came from at the end of 'Boatride. Who's to say he isn't also immortal?

Oh, but there is! Remember that guy named Jesus? Well, it appears to me he does have full knowledge of his immortality. However, we know jack shit about whether or not he is fully aware of the origins of this particular ability, meaning whether or not his heavenly father attended the meetings of the cult of Cthulhu around the year 1 BC/AD. All we know is he once told Satan he was a Buddhist. But Kenny's parents also consider themselves Catholics. So he could simply be bluffing in order to cover up the real facts - that tricky little half hippo, half monkey, and half something else!

Oh sh*t. I never even thought about Jesus!
(Wow. I'm a terrible person...)

But I think it's safe to assume Jesus' resurrection abilities are different than Kenny's.
But they could have some pretty interesting conversations...

Bill Gates came back from the dead in "The Entity". We all laughed when he was shot in the head in the movie but a couple years later, there he is again with just a band aid on his forehead.

Also Kenny has that phantasmal older brother of his. Some episodes where we have shots of the McCormick family he's there; in others he's not. Almost as if they forgot about him for a while and then realized, oh yeah, we gave Kenny a brother. Probably should draw him into this scene with the McCormicks sitting around the dinner table.

Well, everyone who died during the American-Canadian war was brought back to life with Kenny's wish.
And if you think Kevin McCormick make very few appearances, have you seen Kenny's sister, Karen?
Yeah, she's been shown ONCE, for a few seconds.

What about Mayor McDaniels? She blew her brains out, and popped right back up in a scene a little later on with a bandage wrapped around her head. (that might have been in the movie too though, i dont' remember.)

I wouldn't be so sure about that. If I'm not mistaken, Jesus and Kenny have one more thing in common aside from immortality - their strange obsession with porn, wich makes me even more suspicious about that Jesus'-father-monkeyballs furry wonder and his relations with Cthulhu. Close relations, to say the least.

No, it was in "Die, Hippie, Die"; so I think it definitely makes her #3 in that list.

Come on. It is about being funny. Looking much further beyond that ventures off into the absurd.

Maybe "VACOOLA" is on to something. I know it sounds completely insane but maybe watching porn, combined with the black magic of cuthulu's cult gives you immortality!

If so, I will SO start going to cult meetings to get it (and they have free food) :D

But thats the best part about looking deep into things that aren't really there. The Tales of Scrootie McBoogerballs ( or something like that) episode really makes fun of that.

No one's mentioned Lizzy? :O

She got dragged off by a bear in Cartman's Silly Hate Crime, but shows up in the background later on. I don't think it's confirmed that she died, but there's a chance? Her and Kenny are pretty similar for the most part.

What about Bebe, Sally, and Esther? They all died in Cartman's Silly Hate Crime 2000 as well. And Bebe also died in Pinkeye. Remember Wendy, Clyde, Pip, and Chef died in the same episode and came back. Can't forget the death of Kyle in Imaginationland. Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Al Gore all died in Imaginationland when Imaginationland was nuked, but they were all brought back to life by Butters.
