Season 24
When will Season 24 come out?
Re: Season 24
September 23, but that might change as we get closer to that date.

About this many. More if they bring in others such as Bill Hader (For example) and then there’s the crews who send the show to Comedy Central snd Much at the satellite uplink. https://southpark.cc.com/about/cast-and-crew

I want the first episode to be an episode where Wendy drinks a monster potion.

I also want a second episode with the title "Headless Cartman" where Cartman's head is actually in his shirt.

Can't wait :c
Re: Season 24
is it possible that the new season is delayed because of the coronavirus? we know it has already happened to a lot of series, and in those cases it was to avoid gathering.
that's why i asked (see above) how many people are involved in the creation of an episode.
i imagine it should not be an issue for south park, just wanted to be sure.

They always start in the fall. September. If they wanted to do a season with people working remotely, I believe they have the technology to do so. That is one of the things they have going for them. A lot of current technology didn’t exist even so much as a decade ago. The writers room in theory could literally be set up as a Zoom meeting if they felt good about doing that. If not, it could be delayed.

Re: Season 24
Is the fact they are taking a bit longer than usual to announce Season 24 a sign they're daying it? Or is it really just them trying to figure out how they'll produce the season, before they make an announcement?
Just some speculation.

And it's true, as the other user said, that many things can be discussed and done remotely, but if there were no issues, by now they should have long announced the date of the premiere.

Re: Season 24
A couple hours ago, a video was uploaded to the South Park Studios YouTube channel of Cartman enjoying his amusement park in "Cartmanland." The title of that video reminded me of the quarantine stuff. I can'thelp but think that was on purpose to reference quarantine. There's no other way unless it was just for fun, or for the same reason they uploaded the first three minutes of "Cartman Gets An Anal Probe" a week ago (also for fun? Most likely.) It could be a sign something will be announced soon regarding the season (I hope so, that is.)mario88 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 07, 2020 6:44 pmMy thoughts exactly.Randy Marsh 2016 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 10:49 pmIs the fact they are taking a bit longer than usual to announce Season 24 a sign they're daying it? Re: Season 24
They’re uploading clips now because they can. I don’t believe they were able to upload as many to Youtube under the Hulu deal, not too sure.
Comedy Central’s PR announced the season premiere dates on the following dates
Season 23 - August 14th
Season 22 - July 11th
Season 21 - August 23rd
Season 20 - July 22nd
If there is anything this year, there should be an announcement within the month

The earlist article regarding the announcement of Season 23 came out on July 18, 2019.
Season 21 was announced on May 17, 2017 to begin August 23, 2017, but it was pushed back to September 13, 2017 sometime in July 2017 (Reddit shows it was on July 7, 2017, but Google search cutsom range doesn't bring up that article.)
Unless I'm missing something then yes there should be an announcement in the next month, before the expected release date (mid-late September.) If not, then, same thing.
How would you feel if the Season were delayed to late October or November?
