A poem I wrote today

Postby Misty_Park_3R » Tue Jan 17, 2006 4:58 am

Endless Sleep

Rolling winds, clouds deep gray
Rain misting off cumulus mountains
All is lost

Washing the layers away
Once again spilling the fountain
But at what cost

Seedy, the mind, it churns
Staring, so oblivious
Seeing nothing

Like a spark, the sun, it burns
Thoughts so lascivious
Aching, longing

Calling for the dark black shroud
Enveloped with a hot waxy seal
A journey so steep

Surrounded by walls, not proud
The soul weakens the will
Dreaming of endless sleep.

Thank you Mr. Jefferson, it took all of 5 minutes and one strange mood.

Hmmm? I don't even remember what you posted. But I am surprised this thread is still here. :P

Tire Swing

Hanging by a sturdy rope,
Dangled in a dizzy spin,
No problems with which to cope,
In a race you know you’ll win,
It won’t get you to the store,
Nor drive you to the beach,
But up in the air you’ll soar,
Well beyond your reach.

Nice work you've got here. Poetry's never been my strong point...

^ ^;
Goodbye, cruel world...
I'm leaving you today
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye...

Goodbye, all you people
There's nothing you can say
To make me change my mind...
Goodbye...

Can't believe this is still here. There is another from October 2006 still in this thread as well.

Here's something I wrote in July

Life

Merry-go-round
Spins the ground

Dizzy and dazed
Happy ways

Jump on this ride
Keep your pride

Or up and down
Prince to clown

Jolting motion
Warped ocean

Turbulent sea
You will be

7-13-08

It would appear some of the smilies need to be re-saved with a black matte background or transparent.

I didn't have anywhere else to move them (well, I do, but no one would see them in the Graveyard forum), so here they are. :)
