I like the Kenny eated by the seal...was funny...

The hollywood one was great. Only thing wrong is Kyle's hair, but that's because I can't find anything else to complain on...much better and more realistic than mine

Anyways, I'd really appreciate it if people would critique to their hearts' content. I'm looking into going into art school, and I need all the critique and advice I can get on my artwork. I do tons of other kinds of art (painting, realism drawing, etc.), so I may post some sooner or later when I want critique. My usual media is Ink/Crayola Colored Pencil, and Adobe Photoshop CS2. I'm also working on some Flash animation and perhaps some vector art (Adobe Illustrator CS2).

I love how your drawings have a rough look, it gives your art character. Its also a nice change of pace from ultra polished drawings.
Well good luck with future art.

P.S. I bet fifty bucks Eddu will end her response to this complement with this ^ ^;

Thanks... By 'ultra polished drawings', do you mean the air-brushed coloring style that a lot of other fan-artists use? I've never been able to figure that coloring style out for myself...

:oops:

Thanks anyways...

The bet...? I dunno, my friend.

Aww, thanks. Colored pencil does seem to be a most intresting medium to mess around with, nevertheless...

*shrug*

You could say that, haha...

the airbrush quality (or more or less solid colors) is from pure photoshop, if that is what you mean.

Color pencil is fun, pure photoshop is tough and some what hard for textures and finding the right one (tried that on anti x-mas one with grains, but you can't really see it)

Also before I forget Eddyasha, if nobody else enters I will extend the deadline, if somebody gets into the mixed media stuff and nobody else joins I will put my traditonal in mixed media (should be easy enough for me to change it enough to be considered mixed), if somebody goes for traditional, digital or mspaint then I will just extend the deadline. I'd probally extend the deadline to the 30th or 31st to join

Yeah, the airbrushing comes purely from Photoshop, unless you have an actual airbrush with paint to go along with it. I agree about the colored pencil, you can pull off both textured and smooth (somewhat) effects with that, and yes, pure Photoshop is hard to mess around with. I find textures not too hard to use on Photoshop, but Illustrator drives me mad.

I'll keep looking through my art to see what I can do for the competition, and I'll try to get the word out for more people taking part in this.
