I've been reluctant about dishing my name online for a long time, not only for privacy concern but because for the longest time, I really hated my first name. Now, I'm not so much in hate with it, but as a kid, it was awful to deal with.
It's...Annalisa. I'm commonly known as Anna, which is fine with me. No one ever calls me Ann/e or Lisa, which is fine by me
What I hated the most about my name: People would get the spelling wrong SO much. Analisa (and yeah, my mom would point out that it looked like "ANAL-Lisa"), Annalyza, Annaliza, Analysa, Annalysa, Anna-Lisa, Anna Lisa, and probably a few other spellings I missed. There were a bunch. "Analisa" was one of the common ones, along with the "Anna Lisa" one.
Even on some papers, people seem to be unaware that Lisa is NOT my middle name (It's "Maria"). ANNALISA IS ONE WORD/NAME. Even when I'd have to spell it out, sometimes someone would write down the wrong spelling. It's TWO 'N's! No 'Z', no 'Y' in there, guuuhh.
I was mocked for the name 'Annalisa' quite a bit as a kid. And this one bitch teacher, Mrs.Whittaker, when she yelled at me, even had the nerve to use my FULL NAME in class, which embarrassed and made me feel horrible while the other kids laughed.
I've only been called "Annie" as part of a sickening pet name my mom gave me as a kid: "Annie-Bananny" >_<
Online, I've been commonly known as "Cerisa" since 2002. I got it from "Cerise", but just used an 'a' and all. At that time, I had thought Cerise was a type of pink (it wound up being French for 'cherry', heh) due to seeing the 'Cerise' color listed quite a bit. How I ultimately decided on it, though...I guess I just went with it.
That's how I'm known to most people online, really. Most of them call me Cerisa, some call me Anna. I don't mind.
- Painbringer (for beating up some kids who pissed me off, and some other kids saw it, hence that one)
- Ozzfreak (for being the biggest Ozzy Osbourne fan in the school)
- The Renegade (this one's recent, but some kids just started calling me that)...
I'm leaving you today
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye...
Goodbye, all you people
There's nothing you can say
To make me change my mind...
