Johnny The Homicidal Maniac by Johnen Vasquez

Rather disturbing, but amusing. I think my favorite thing of his is Squee, followed by Invader Zim than this.

Hey, me too! I wanted to reread them when school ended, and now that it has, I'm starting with book number one tomorrow. :)

I recently finished Lawrence E. Walsh's "FINAL REPORT OF THE INDEPENDENT COUNSEL FOR IRAN/CONTRA MATTERS"

I am currently reading Kurt Vonnegut's Timequake

"The pilot of Joy's Pride made a U-turn way up in the sky. The purple motherf*cker was still slung underneath. The pilot headed back for Banalulu. "He did it," wrote Trout, "because that is what his mother would have wanted him to do."

At the top-secret court-martial afterward, everybody was convulsed with laughter at one point in the proceedings. This caused the chief judge to bang his gavel and declare that what those on trial had done was "no laughing matter." What people found so funny was the prosecutor's description of what people did at the base when Joy's Pride came in for a landing with the purple motherf*cker only a foot above the tarmac. People jumped out of windows. They peed in their pants."

Over a sheet of scrap jokes I just thought of, they're only 'bare bones' though, so I need to tweek them up before they make enough sense.

The "So What Are You Reading?" Thread

Postby SerialGoth » Sat Jun 17, 2006 3:57 am

Okay, Peoples...I know you don't spend all your free time on here, or watching SP, so chances are if you're like me, you do a lot of reading too. Therefore, I'm curious...anyone reading anything good? I'm into history, so I'm reading an awesome biography called "Elizabeth And Mary: Cousins, Rivals, Queens". It's about Queen Elizabeth I of England and Mary, Queen Of Scots (hence the title, for all of you non-Ye-Olde-English history buffs out there), and the sturggles they each went through before rising to power. It may sound boring to some of you, but I dig it, so there you go.
What's everybody else reading?
