Re: Randome Thread, part II - Merry f*cking Christmas!!!

Three pages and three days ago, when someone asked why there was a new one in the first place...

Because I could no longer fix the thread when someone told me of a problem in it. But since you asked, and in light of recent changes on the site, I'm going to merge the two threads. Voila!

^ Hokay, good to know. Thanks.

Back to randomality...

I gotta check the heads in our computer. For some reason, it won't read a CD I want to put through Windows Media Player.

My I/O Magic CD-RW drive wont read my South Park CD-R's for some reason... But my DVD burner does. If you know of a possible reason, it would be nice. :)

^ I better try something on our computer, and it might be a good idea for you to try on your readers, too.

Do you have any kind of CD head cleaner? It's not much, but it's all I can think of at the moment.

^ Well, it isn't the CD, because it is really clean, and it was burned on that drive. But it doesn't really matter, because my other drive reads it just fine. It's just weird how it works on my Light Scribe DVD drive. It comes up as a "blank" CD on my CD-RW drive. :?

Maybe the lens on the drive is dirty.

At least Poofs had a decent holiday concert...

Last night, we had an Orchestra concert, right? It was just a little misunderstanding, a breakdown in communication...she blows up over it.

I stayed on campus after school to wait for the concert call time, but I didn't have my uniform. I honestly thought my mom would pick up my uniform from the house and drop it off for me and perhaps stay to watch the concert or go to the market to stock up on food or something. By the end of the school day, my mom calls me on the cell phone multiple times and b*tches the Hell out of me for 'forgetting my uniform at home'. She told me that I would 'die and go to Hell because I was a useless, stupid f*ck' and that she doesn't care if I failed the class (the concert is 50% of our grade). She threatened to beat the s*it out of me when I went home, so I spent call time tearing up and spazzing trying to see if I could spend a night at my friend's place. My dad eventually brought me my uniform from the house, but I couldn't help but burst out in tears in front of everyone because I was scared that my mom would beat me.

I don't want to call out my mom for beating me for fear she would get in trouble and not cook food for my family, but oh, I don't know... Sometimes, I'm just so sick of dealing with my family. I mean, what's up with her anyways? Who put sand up hers? She's always b*tching at everyone over little things these days. She's always telling me that I'm a lazy, stupid a*shole (both in Chinese and English, which is completely embarassing); you never hear a word of praise out of my parents. Sometimes, I'll get depressed, and they'll ask, but what can I say? If I admit it, they'll just b*tch me out some more...

:x

Sometimes, I just can't take it anymore...I wish my boyfriend could adopt me for a week or something...

:(

@ Big-Will: Yeah...the Will from school is pretty darned funny like you in certain cases, but he's got black hair unlike your avvie.

:P
Goodbye, cruel world...
I'm leaving you today

Weird...today, my friends and I found this journal by one of the seniors lying around, and it seems to be a book of little-known facts about the school and all the kids.

We found out some really weird stuff, like how some kids started a Jewish student club and random incidents of out-of-school craziness...

Oh...that one scene when she gets hit by a bus...that's so priceless. I wish some kids at my school could get run over by a bus...

Random- One of my friends broke his finger yesterday. It just so happened to be his middle finger, so he's exempt from writing (because he's left handed and it's his left middle finger) and now he's unintentionally flicking everyone off because of the splint.

DERRRRRRRR! I forgot that we had a second disc drive installed, so the top one doesn't work as well. So I used the bottom one, and it reads just fine. Gotta remember that.

Re: Randome thread - And now, back to Advent.

Postby Big-Will » Thu Dec 13, 2007 10:05 am

And now, for something completely different

The Man That Comes Around
Tommy Tucker Time

Now there’s a man that comes to our house every single day,
Papa comes home and the man goes away
Oh, papa does the work and Momma gets the pay
And the man comes around when Papa goes away.

Verse 1
Now the man that comes to our house, he’s very nice
He comes in the summertime to bring Momma ice.
But the little teeny, weeny piece soon melts away,
And he has to come back again later in the day.

Chorus:
There’s a man that comes to our house every single day,
Papa comes home and the man goes away
Oh, Papa does the work and Momma gets the pay
And the man comes around when Papa goes away.

Verse 2
The man that comes to our house, he comes to take the trash
In a little white jacket and a little black mustache
It’s all very strange but it always seemed to me,
He’s a little more familiar than the trash man ought to be.

Verse 3
The man that comes to our house, he comes to bring the milk.
He walks right in the kitchen and he talks as smooth as silk
I always have to hold his horsey out by the gate
‘Cause he always stays so awful long the horse don’t wanna wait.

Verse 4
Now when I grow up I'm never gonna be
A plumber or a carpenter, no sir-ree
I'll never be a doctor with an office downtown
No, I’d rather be just the man that comes around.

End:
Gently boys, gently (bridge)
wohohoho I'd rather be just the man that comes around!
