I've tried Firefox and i hate it. Love the official feel to IE. I'll keep it for now, only ONE site hates it. Just need some spamblockers!

Random: I spent most of this morning staring at a dirt smudge on the wall that I thought was a moth crawling, growing huge legs and trying to eat itself. The scary part is, I wasn't even high.

NEVER USE ALLSP TO WATCH SP EPISODES!
I tried to watch "SSWVP" because the season 8 DVD isn't available in the UK (still!) and guess what I got? A smiley face which Iooked like a bomb came along, and did a little dance, followed by a MILLION adware popups, mainly for cassinos, morgages and anal sex (all the same thing in my oppinion) which MAY prevent me using my home computer AGAIN! SECCOND time the SAME virus has hit me; i'm in skool libry at the moment, CRAZY librarian gonna get me if I stick around, MAY be back in a week or two when I reformat my hard disk but can't guarantee I'll be in same account. BASTARD HACKERS!

I feel so stupid right nah. To get the line input to work on the Magnavox, you have to press RECORD along with play. DUH! And here I've just been using a tape adapter to play my iPod through the thing.

This model locks the cassette door in place in play/record mode, so if the door is open while 'play' is pressed, it won't close. To combat that, I took a blank cassette and removed the tape so I can engage the record without sticking my finger in there to press that little pin down.
All I have to do now is get one of those iPod docks with the remote, and I'll have a kick ass little system for my room!
Yeah, it did that to me a time or two. I'd give you DCR's email, so you can tell him about it if I still had it.

Way to cut down on costs, I call that technique "Oaky Rigging." My PC speakers are oaky rigged, I have a 2-into-1 RCA-to-headphone jack plugging in 2 RCA type speakers to my computer. The speakers are from the 80's and plug in to like the audio cords (Red and white.) on a DVD player.

Aj man, that sucks, Superoorsavioir. It's possible that it may be the site, but also, you could've gotten what I dub a "Spyware/Virus Bomb", where after some spyware/viruses lie dormant on your system for a little bit, something suddenly triggers them and the downloader viruses begin downloading MORE crap onto your machine. The trigger could've been that site.
It happened to me in 2005, after I had joined a Stan/Wendy fanlisting. The owner decided to shut it down shortly after, and in her goodbye e-mail...you guessed it, she embedded it with some sort of virus (must've been a downloader trojan, judging by what happened). Others got it from her, but my computer didn't have SpySweeper or anything yet to defend itself, and suddenly one day, I visited one of my usual hangouts and my computer got BOMBARDED with crap. Including movie files of PORN popping up as well :/ Damn fanlisting owner. Guess she wanted to drag everyone else down for joining her site.
Strangely enough, I had a bit of a weird part of a dream today where I was visiting a site (I think Deviantart) and accidentally hit a wrong link and got this "DO YOU WANT TO DOWNLOAD MILEY CYRUS PORN" thing and suddenly the computer screen went all black with all this freaky code. Blaargh. I think this might've been spawned from a time I visited DA and wound up being redirected suddenly to some advertisement which tried to install adware on my machine.
Randomness: For some unknown reason, I went back to Neopets last night, I guess for curiosity. Bastards won't let me log back into my account. "YOUR BIRTHDAY IS WRONG". No it's NOT. It's September 14, 1988, I'm sorry that your dipsh*t website suddenly won't recognize it as being right, when I've logged in successfully in the past (last time I went was 2005 XD). Ah well, all the more reason to stay away from it. The site is like a stamina-sapper, and so many there get so into it that they're so snooty and high and mighty all because they have "this many paintbrushes/rare items/map pieces/Neopoints/etc.". I was sick of it by the time I quit, and also disturbed by the sponsored ads they'd put up on the site (and you had to get "PREMIUM" membership to get no annoying ads), which also included Viagra...so much for Neopets' "family friendly, squeaky clean" image, eh?
I mean, it may have more than just kid players, but still, it's basically a "kids" game and you've got all these people competing and bragging like it's some big contest to get the most NP and be 'rich' so you can spit on everyone else beneath you and mock all the noobs for not having as much rare items as you (or a Cybunny or Poogle or whatever pets would get restricted) and laugh at them while you make them miserable and cry their noobie hearts out. And then there's the hypocrisy and screwyness of the site admins ("NeoTeam") and the favoritism towards some members and the freezing of accounts for no apparent reason at times ("Our system has no idea why your account was frozen").
In conclusion of this random rant tangent: Neopets=:stanpuke:

^ Online communities with gold, points, and whatnot is a breeding ground for elitists. I mean, seriously- people get snobby up their asses over a bunch of f*cking pixels. That's why I like forums like this- there's no rare items and sh*t to turn people into assh*les (although some people think post count is a way to judge someone
). But, I digress- it's not how much you post online- it's what you post that counts.
Heh. I have a feeling I'll get flamed out of my mind for this.
We're playing Pirates of the Carribean music in Orchestra class- how exciting! Too bad the band kids won't move their lazy butts over to our room to practice with us.
...So anyways, I finally proved my 11th grader thesis at lunch today- the seemingly nerdiest kids in the school can be more f*cked up than everyone thinks.
My friends and I were hanging out and 'Drizzle' starts going off about how he was messing around online and how he found 'inappropiate censoring'. He tells everyone about how weird it could be when they censored the word 'love' out of the Barney song. We also talked about how strange it would be if they got rid of Neptune as a planet and bleeped out Pluto- (these were his exact words) Now they went to Ur-anus and then *bleep*.

I wish we stilll had post counts right under our names, like in the Good Old days, just so we could see who is immortal, that is, who has absulutely no life offline

That's the most f*cked up thing the nerdiest kid in your school has ever said? Our nerds out mad yours. One sings christmass songs (SP ones included) all in Latin (again SP songs included) in the middle of class, in easter. It helps him concentrate. Doesn't help me concentrate. He transfered from the royal grammer for boys (where the hottest hippy girl in our year incidentally transferred, was there something she didn't tell us

Our skool librarian is THE DEVIL. Back in the 8th grade, my then best friend's granddad died and he came to the library to cry (he's Butter's clone by the way), so what does she do? Send him outside for not working! Where some tough kids promptly beat him up for being a wuss, or attempt to until I step in and get pounded for him. Bastards, at least they're all expelled now, for slapping the bald head of the headmaster a bit too hard- with a rock (the one who black eyed me anyway, other kids just dropped out). But to kick someone out for CRYING, what kind of hartless freak, oh she's a LIBRARIAN, that explains it

I HATE that kind of censoring. Or rather, I love to hate it. I only notice it on American shows, we don't censor squat on UK TV, except quality

True, my mum keeps telling me that's probably what I got. But as I got it twice from the site, I'd be willing to bank it's from there. I don't venture far on the net, and the forums I go on reguarly are pretty official, don't think I'd get it from here or anything.
That woman sounds like quite the sore looser. Glad her forum DIED a premature death. I've got no computer immune system, anti-virus makes things SOOO slow. And I keep getting *anal p0rn* vids try to come through.
RANDOM: the virus keeps making my IE Status bar disapear... and some search engine called "watersource" pop up instead of google... and the net die for no reason... wierd-o-virus!

Ah, the poor Grade 10 students at my school. Today was the day of the infamous Ontario Grade 10 Literacy Test. All of the Grade 10's/people who failed it last year had to take it today, but since I past that thing two years ago, I get to kick back here at home and sleep in!
...I can't f*cking find my headphones! Blargh!
I also need to find more stuff for my flash card.

I finnaly found a coppy of Metal Gear for the Game Boy colour, only £2.50! I gots to get my GBC out now, because it doesn't work on DS, which I forgot when I bought it
I just had to reboot my system, so I'm having to download MSN and AIM all over agiain. grrr... Also just discovered the majik of torrents. It's like a drug, i'm addicted to torrents!
My headphones have all broked, so I don't get to listen to any more musak on them. That's what I get for trying to play Rammstein quietly, that sound is irrepressable! Oh well, Poor neighbours I suppose

Re: The Magnificent Random Rides Again!
Yeah, the reason the GameBoy Advance could play GBC games was because it actually had the processing hardware of the GBC in it. GBC's been so out of date now that it wouldn't have been worth sticking the hardware into the DS as well, that thing has enough random crazyness as it is. That and it would look just terrible, especially on the DS Lite. You can find homebrew GBC emulators for the DS though, methinks, but you would need a flash card in order to use it.

Re: The Magnificent Random Rides Again!
I have a (Sadly pink) GBA somewhere around my house, it's just a matter of geting the energy to dig it out of the trash-heap that is my bedroom.
Random: I KNOW why coffee disolves in water but not in milk. Milk is a non-polar solvent, and coffee is polar, so the electrons in both (being of the same polarity, negative) repell each other like the south compasses of two magnets. In a polar solvent like water, there is a negative charge and a positive charge which attract the negative and positive parts of the coffee and pull it appart, helping the drink to get through the pores in the stomache, into your brain. Hot water helps things as the water particles move around quicker (more energy) tearing pieces of coffee off quicker. Hot milk may act like hot water, but only because it contains water as well as fat.
Finely ground coffee powder has a larger surface area than a coffee bean, and so disolves at a faster rate, as the water can attack it from more angles.
WHO SAID Chemistry isn't usefull in everyday life?!?!?!
Oh yeah, me...
