My brownies turned out mmmmm- fantastic! It was 'Alton Brown's cocoa brownies' and I swirled in some peanut butter to jazz it up. They are rich and fudgy and turned out just right. Really happy with them. Just sucks that I know they will only last a day- brownies fly out quicker than anything pretty much.

I'm don't think so. There will always be differences. Croats (and southern Europeans in general) are too lazy to ever achieve north Europe's level of development.

The latin name for cannabis is cannabis sativa.
The sativa part is the species name
The name for rice is Oryza sativa.
The name for lettiuce is lettiuce sativa.

i wondered what sativa is. It means cultivated.
So when latin binomial for this plant was made, it was a cultivated crop?
It's confusing that sweet chessnut and camelina are both called C. sativa, when we do the normal thing and say the genus name as it's first letter with a dot (like E. coli or H. sapiens or M. musculus).

So someone could be smoking camelina next time they smoke C. sativa, as if anyone says they're smoking C. sativa ._.

Of course. Binominal nomenclature was created in 18th century. Remember Carl Linne?

If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.

*gasp* I can get 4G out here at Mary's! Shame I don't have a better data plan to take advantage of it. :|

Aww... well, I seem to be caught in a battle of the signals. One tower is giving me an HSPA (that's right isn't it?) Connection, and the other is an EPRS. I think that one's a 1/2G network, If I'm not mistaken.

On top of the good news of seeing my mama this weekend, I also tried to lessen my fear of swimming today. I actually went in the deep of of a pool with a life-vest on. Crazy! I also bought myself a new pillow and towel because I needed one. Last, my first magazine from Parents arrived today after I subscribed to them weeks ago!! YAAAA

Very happy day indeed. :)
