I switched back to Coast To Coast on 570 KLIF because they were just talking and talking on 730. It's like a "professional" college station over there, only there aint' a single college aged person working there. They play some really great music, but they leave their mics open all the time, (this is mostly overnight though) and you can hear the hosts singing along with or commenting on the songs... in the middle of the song. Then also, they'll play like 3 or 4 songs in a row, then pot up a bunch of callers and get a multi-way gab session going for a whole segment. Now there were some great jokes issued just a little while ago, but then they started talking about stuff that I just couldn't understand. Mostly because the host sounds like he's a mile and a half away from the mic, and the audio from the callers was super low. The whole station is so low-rent that they're only 500 watts, and have no website. But they must be doing something right because they've been around for 43 years.
