Yeah, I liked that song Kershaw did as well. (I have a couple of remixes; see earlier post about the "Retro:Active" CDs.)

Also, the way Phil Collins played both venues was really cool. Played in London, flew a Concord to Philadelphia, and played there.

Found an old CD recently with 12" mixes to Phil's singles from his "No Jacket Required" album. Now, that's a fun find!

Some 80's Youtube treats. I'm not telling you what they are, just click and bask in the '80's glory!

This one is actuallly 1979, but it's a great song and not a bad video either:

Slow connection, haven't been able to view most of the past few vids, or preview this one, but I like this song.

Thanks! Wire were a great band. Here another of theirs, from a few years later:

Band-Aid. USA for Africa. Hear 'N' Aid. The '80s brought forth a mass of groups consisting of many performers for any good cause. But, did you ever wonder if they ever suffered from overkill?

I never did until I saw this. I like the show and have read about how it almost got cancelled around that time, but this '85 single...well...WTF?!!?

You can read the info for yourself on this one.

^ Maybe not the song, but I do remember the band. Couldn't get the "Shiny Shiny" song out of my head.

^Same here. Knew the name, not the song. It sounds like a Bow Wow Wow rip-off.

Oh, 80's music is great. Much better than the crap that comes out of the radio nowadays. Some of my favourite 80's bands are;

- Duran Duran.
- The Clash.
- The Divinyls.
- Cyndi Lauper.
- Madonna (shutup, she was good back then).
- Dextie Midnight Runners, or whatever they're called- I just like the "Come on Elieen" song by them.
- Blondie.
- Dead or Alive.

EDIT: I'm looking for an 80's song, but I don't know the name of it. It's electroclash and I think that it's by a band called "The Sounds" or something. I really like it, and if you know what I'm talking about, please tell me. Thnx.
Formerly terrance&philliparesw.

I would have to agree on seven of them, although the Divinyls did have one catchy tune.

Anyone ever hear this one?

so this isn't obscure or anything but who sings 'the safety dance' (possible title)

possible lyrics:
we can dance if we want to, we can leave your friends behind...'cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance well they're no friends of mine
