I'm looking forward to 2009.

A New Year, a new President, and a new hope for the 21st century.

I'm very optimistic for the change.

2009 is gonna be fine. You may quote me.

Y'know, the original Random Thread was closed over a year ago, and Will started the Randome thread. He then later reopened and merged the two threads into one large glorious cacophony of posts. I had a small hand in the it's current title choice.

And now we have three random threads. Four if we count the WIN thread, which it's true each post is a WIN, but a lot of randomness occurs there.

Let's see. . . . .random for non-evil people . . . . .

From the Associated Press:

Scientists watch unusual Yellowstone quake swarm

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Scientists are closely monitoring more than 250 small earthquakes that have occurred in Yellowstone National Park since Friday. Swarms of small earthquakes happen frequently in Yellowstone. But Robert Smith, a professor of geophysics at the University of Utah, says it's very unusual to have so many over several days.

The largest tremor was Saturday and measured magnitude 3.8.
Smith says it's hard to say what might be causing the tremors but notes that Yellowstone is very geologically active. An active volcano there last erupted 70,000 years ago, and this swarm of quakes may be a precursor to the volcano becoming active again.

Sounds delicious. I suppose in Seattle you have a lot of fresh, wild salmon? That's one of my favorites.

You would think we get our salmon locally, and you would be right!

We either fry a 5 ounce portion, wich comes with fries, Or we can grill a 6 ounce fillet and put it on a salad, or a plater with rice, cornbread, and colsaw.

I have the grilled salmon at least 3 times a week.

^ That's very healthy, and delicious too. I get fresh salmon here at a heath foods store; they sell fresh, wild fish. And for no extra charge, they can cook it for you too, at no extra charge!
