Picking positions may be lame, but I find it irresistably fun.

I wonder what my position would be ^;

Hmm...I dunno. Should I get back to where I left off in the epic of the 2007 Summer Flame Wars?
Goodbye, cruel world...
I'm leaving you today
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye...

Goodbye, all you people
There's nothing you can say
To make me change my mind...
Goodbye...

Well...if you weren't here for August or so, then yeah...kinda. It was a fiasco over in the Fan-fic forum...

Right, then. Back to LA_KING's retaliation.

The arse lashed out at everyone for disagreeing with his orders and ignoring him, whether they had known him or not from before. He accused the Elders of atrocities from the First Age of the BBS and the novices for supporting them. He 'condemned' them to Hell for 'writing slash' and such. The Elders declined his otherworldly claims and drudged up some ugly history going way back on other Fan-Fic boards under several other names. The Elders rubbed the point in his face that he couldn't write for s*it and that he contradicted much of what he said anyways.

Then, LA_KING went on a n00b rampage, threatening to 'kill' some members and accusing most everyone to be 'homo'. Some of the novices, including me and Broflovskifan1234 (right username?) broke off into a special faction, taking our old time and ripping on LA_KING in any way possible, including through nasty inside jokes and tons of different languages (Chinese, German, and Japanese). Nommel/GWIAN had a barrel of fun roasting him over and over in threads all over the place. Things got comepletely out of control for a while; I believe even Lord Big-Will had enjoyed poking a little fun at this before he locked the theads involved.

The War didn't just take place on the Fan-Fic theater- word had it that LA_KING was trolling his head off over on the chatroom (I wouldn't have known, I was still a novice and unknowing of the fact that the chatroom crashes my Internet anyways). Some Elders even told of him sending some inflammatory PMs. We took the fight to a few other Sub-Forum theaters (I forget which, those seem so long ago now) and battled it out for some time there.

I'll tell about the end and perhaps the Second Coming later.
Goodbye, cruel world...

Wow.. I kinda wish I came back earlier this summer.

^ ^;

I dunno...he would've ripped on you, too...especially if you were around since the beginning of the Second Age. It wasn't the greatest way to be welcomed to the BBS, but I'm still here.

Hehe.

I remember reading all that over the summer when I was here as a guest. I thought it was funny that people gave him the time of day now that we have a block feature.
That's how it's down here on the farm!

Well...it gave us all something to do and plenty of lulz during the normal downtime between new episode premieres, I guess.

:wink:

Yep. And Big-Will locked his "law" threads, and he just kept making new ones. And telling people to follow some other forums guidelines or you will be banned. What a douche he was.

I think he's still around in his kingsnakeX incarnation, but he's been a bit quiet lately. He might've finally learned his lesson over the 2007 Summer Flame Wars, but you can never tell with that kind of person...
