Re: What's up?
Ahhhh right, I thought you reached the conclusion of the case, so sentencing was being carried out.
Think with your cell, if you want to cover your ass (Especially if it's a pay as you go), is get a brand new SIM and number (Suggest to your friends they do the same too), although if truth be honest as it's your first time, it's unlikely they will be lo-jacking your cells.
As for possible sentence, I doubt as first offence it will be much, and as you all basically dressed to impress, this will be a positive thing in the Judge's eyes..... with that, and treating the Judge with respect, you will not get much of a sentence (Fine, community service maybe), and in any case, your legal team should be able to give you a rough idea what to expect and what to do.... afterall, it's what they are paid to do.

However from your words, something tells me the Judge did something quite unexpected..... You all got a unconditional discharge maybe?
Wouldn't that be titties? But our real court date is next month, the previous one is where the judge and prosecutors talk about the crime and give you an actual court date.
What makes you think of the possibility of an unconditional discharge?

Just don't say "Adios" to the judge as you leave....
She'll probably send you to jail for 10 years....
In all seriousness...the most you'll do is 6 months MAX. First offense. You'll probably get no time (or a suspended sentence) and be given probation for like a year or two, and have to pay a hefty fine....so be prepared to cash out like $10,000 or something.

RTL: I love being a dick to people for no reason. It makes me feel better about how my mom smacks me around with a frozen T Bone steak.

Thanks for the comment, wiifitman, but I said only comment if you know what you're talking about. You just caused me MUCH unneeded stress although I know you have just about no knowledge on the subject . Not tryna be a dick... it's just I'm bugging out over this and it realllllly angers me when people tell me I'm going to jail over this or I'll have to pay anything over 1,000 dollars. I asked this site looking for answers from anyone who has had personal experience or who knows their sh*t because I know what they will tell me will make me feel more comfortable with the situation because I know the punishment won't be THAT bad, I'm just unsure of what it will be. Thanks for making the evergrowing pit in my stomach even larger though...

Re: What's up?
...right. Anyway, I got a new phong! LG Optimus G. Let's hope it's less buggy than the previous one.
Re: What's up?
Had my first taste of alcohol Sunday. Went with my sister and her friend to BJ's Pizza for her first legal drink now that she turned 21 and took a sip of her blackberry mohito. It tasted good but I could still taste the alcohol. Could only take a few small sips.
Good thing- I tried something I told myself I never ever will do.
Bad- well, I just will never like alcohol. Which isn't bad, but still makes me feel like an outsider. Everyone else drinks. But at least I know I'm not missing anything now.
Ya for me stepping out of my comfort zone!

We all have our fall from innocence. From Christopher Robin (Winnie the Pooh) to Andy (Toy Story). Stan Marsh to Stanluv25.
But I'm glad to hear you have tasted the first real taste of life!

Well, I don't know if that's true or not, but I do that it's the stuff that memories are made of

Re: What's up?
^Haa.
Funny enough this weekend in Vegas gave me more reasons to not like alcohol. A few friends of my sister's went with us and they caused a lot of drama. All they wanted to do was drink and dance and go to bars and whatnot. There's one friend who gets bitchy when she's drunk, and another who gets all emotional and upset about life and this girl he wishes he was with. (the bitchy one). My sis was annoyed with them and their drama and didn't drink much at all, even though she is now 21 and legal.
Then seeing so many people walking down the strip with drinks in their hands. People in the casinos drinking and smoking...
I will never be a part of that crowd and know I am not missing anything. I just wish people understood others like me and our decision to be sober 24/7.

Re: What's up?
Haven't posted in this thread in a little while. So here it goes. (I'm posting this from a class in school. Shhh! lol)
Classes are going well. I have A's in all of them. Unfortunately, I have a lot of downtime between now and 4 PM today. But that's fine. i can get stuff done in the meantime. In fact, I just got done with my Conceptual Storytelling homework for next week. (Well, the individual part, anyway.) I'm sort of dating again, but I'm going to take it slow this time. I don't want what happened last time to happen ever again. Oh, and I now have a job as a photographer at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. It's seasonal, but it'll look good on my resume.
So that's what's been happening with me. Thanks for listening.

I am officially in habit. If you know me from rp, you'll know what I am flapping on about. I nearly posted a reply in this thread saying "Bob:" usually that happens only in rp, so I actively removed the word... * facepalm*
Anyways, I wonder if we'll have the 2013 BBS awards this year...
And this year... Is it me or is everyone just horny--> pregnant? I mean last year everyone was dropping dead! Then in 2010 all were getting married

Well, speaking for myself, I'm always horny. But yeah, it does seem that people are having push-outs left and right these days.

What's up? I just realized that for the second time in my life, I am guilty of committing a crime, not with the law, but myself. (Check the "Life" thread)
How do you get around without moving like a crab in public then?

Re: What's up?
Hey, everyone!
Sorry I've been away so long. There have been things going on at home since September that have really made it difficult to visit some of the sites I like. I haven't even had the chance to upload stuff for my Art thread in a while as a result.
But just to let you know, I'm not dead; just looking to get back with you guys.
So, what have I missed, other than the announcement of how they'll handle Season 17? -- Yes, I saw that little headline yesterday...
