Man what I rough day. I just closed down my deviantArt account. I was really getting a little tired of all and decided to close it for good. And all of of my deviations went down with the ship.

(actually that's a lie, I saved them on a hard drive in case I ever want to upload to another source. and I still have some of the original drawings).

Because I deleted everything, everything seen in this forum will disappear after a while. viewtopic.php?f=21&t=92096

What the hell happened? After I came home from work I fell asleep around 4 pm (while watching a film) and woke up around 8. =/
It's now 9:30 and it still feels like afternoon to me.

Recently I bought a new wireless mouse, and now something's wrong with it. Cursor twitches and dances around the screen, and it's hard to control it.
I think I just need to clean it, but I can't open it.
Any ideas?

Maybe try to change the surface? Some mouse bad work on the glossy surface.

Wireless mice don't need cleaning, as they have no moving parts. It's just the beam of light and the surface you're using the mouse on. I use a regular mouse pad, but you can use any surface that doesn't reflect or refract light (no glass or shiny surfaces).

Well some of them are still visible, so your welcome to download some of them, before they completely disappear from the DeviantArt servers.

The surface you're using it on is the most likely culprit. It is also possible that the lens for the optical sensor could be dirty. if you still have issues after changing to a different mousepad (or stack of paper) I'd try blowing the lens like an NES cartridge. You shouldn't need to physically clean it unless it's really gunked up, but you could gently brush it out with a q-tip.
I've had similar issues with HP mice, even when the surface and lens were fine. dunno why they do that, but they sometimes do. Logitech is my go-to brand for input devices.

Now, if you're using a wireless ball mouse, nothing has really changed except the wire from mouse to computer, and yeah, you'll have to clean it out as before. Get an optical mouse. :P
