I’m very sorry to hear that LJ. I don’t know if you believe it’s possible but maybe you can tell him now, you know sort of like how people talk to God (praying). Sometimes, I will talk to people who have passed, like my Big Grandma or my Papa. Some meditation or reflection might help with the feelings. My friend talks with her deceased mother when she has trouble’s; she said she knows just what her mother would tell her, so she “reflects” that conversation in her mind and it always makes her feel better.

There was this guy in middle school, who is still my husbands best friend to this day, well, he would hit me on my head nearly everyday when I got on the school bus, I wore these cute little plastic hair bands, and he broke all of them. I bit the hell out of him because I just didn’t know what to do anymore, and he was way to big to defend myself against.

Thank you very much for the advice, Tina. You are one of the sweetest posters on this BBS. You've really been a big help. :) I actually do meditate when I feel uneasy. Whenever I feel that way, my stomach is in knots, and I can't eat anything, but meditating to some relaxing music always eases the pain. I had to do this last night, when I was feeling down in the dumps. Sometimes I draw, or I talk to my family and friends. My mother and brothers are the funniest people in the world, and I love them very much. They always help me out when I'm down.

Another random fact:

I used to be a feminist. *shudders* I believe in equal rights for all, but I don't really like the fact that feminists feel the need to bring men down. That's not very equal.

My mom is very much for equal rights- when it suits her. She still wants me to open the doors for her and stand up whenever she comes near me and let her order first because she is a woman.

For several years after I left my ex, I wanted to run over everyman on the road :shock: I sh*t you not!

Hey Stanley, I understand the door thing because I think men should escort their women, you know, not touching them but guiding them gently with their hand at the small of her back (touching the back if it’s a wife or girlfriend); it makes them feel important and pretty. :wink: Plus if the man is proud of his girl, it will make him feel better too , like, looky what I got. And maybe standing briefly if your seated and she’s coming to join you, but standing every time she just comes near you; I don’t know about that.

As far as equal rights, yeah I believe in them, damn, I mean, I’m smarter than many men (and women) that I meet. And that was what it was all about back in the day, men thought women were not capable of anything (other than having babies and being housewives); that was exactly what led to women becoming all they could and revolting. Well there is one thing from the “old days” that I believe very strongly in, someone needs to stay home and care for the children. I don’t care if it’s mom or dad (or mom’s wife or dad’s husband, whatever your preference) but damn it all someone needs to be home making sure that no one is there molesting them or teaching them the wrong things. Damn it people that pisses me off! :x

Okay, calm down, thinking soothing thoughts…
Treeeey floooooating on a clooooooud…

Okay LJ, don't be down, stand up and repeat after me…

doin’ the happy dance…

doin’ the happy dance…

*in a soothing Cartman voice* See, that’s better!

Yeah, I also don't like people who are making me being polite. Of course, I'm polite to nearly everyone who I'm sure that he/she should gain respect (like parents, teachers, ...), but if then don't consider it that way:
impolite = standard
polite = laudable
but vice versa, which is
polite = standard
impolite = bad
then some people annoy me, like some teachers who wonder why the students don't go out of the way of them, if they just don't say a word and think, it's enough fluttering the arms / hands in the air...

Of course it should be, that everyone is polite, but fact is, that most people are not polite...

And a random fact about me: I just put my watch away from my wrist, 'cause it hurted

and @LJ:
Oh that story is really bad... I also wondered: What happened if this person, who annoyed me, would have vanished one day? I was sure, that I'd be still missing something... And that is the fact, because after this holidays, next year the guy isn't in our class anymore, because he moved... but that's not that bad as dying... omg.
LJ, was it suicide by Joey? As far as i understood this, it wasn't, was it?
Then it's in my opinion even worse... dammit!
Well, you know the South Park episode 305, Tweek vs. Craig? I think you do. I think there it's nearly the same with this strange teacher, whose name I forgot... after Kenny's death he sees all the dead people he knew in Kenny's parka, and realizes that it doesn't really help if you say goodbye / apologize in your case, even if you could to...
Also, did Joey realize that he was rude to several people? Or did he just be arrogant without realizing that?
As this also could have changed the case:
If he just didn't realize that people think of him rude, then maybe he just was a bit, or more than a bit, stupid, and also didn't care about apologizing at you.
Now, if he wondered, why nobody likes him, and he wasn't that dumb, did he care about apologizing at you?
sometimes it's just the way of the people, and also if you cannot do anything other than hate them, they are somehow innocent.
However, >> I << can't judge this. Try the meditation method suggested by Tina, I'm sure that should work. And even if it doesn't, then think about that his life has gone, but yours is still going on, and then you shouldn't take that much time thinking about the dead Joey, just live on after some time of overcoming.
signatures are being overrated.

My mom says that coffee and tea gives her kidney stones, so just to be safe, I'm going to assume that the same is true for me.
