You forgot about Bonnie that came through immediately before Charley as a strong tropical storm. The next has to be a K name so maybe it will be called Kyle!

Yeah, my area didn't have power for a day during Blcakout 2003. Most of the nearby states didn't have them. And yes, I remember Bush blaming Canada.

Yet another reason that I'm not patriotic...

The good news is that I don't have to work tomorrow because the store is closed.

The bad news is that Hurricane Ivan is coming my way!

I just walked my dog and decided I must not be well enough yet to take on such a task; I got light headed and almost passed out down the street. That would have sucked.

Hell, this morning, I was home alone (still am, actually) and I decided to have a nice, tall glass of chocolate milk. There was just one problem though... there was no chocolate syrup. My mom's car was in the way of my car, so I had to walk all the way to the grocery store and back to get my chocolate syrup... damn, it was worth it. I've had about four glasses since I got home.

My dad just chewed me out about my future and I'm actually starting to get a little concerned.

Sorry, Misty. :( I'll keep you company, but you should know that I'm a very slow typer, and I'm also talking to a few others at the moment.

I just bought a CD with some song I liked...then I get home and find out it was the live remake. It was horrible...and to make it worse, the concert crowd kept cheering and interrupting the song. :x

Everyone was buying water, candles, dried food, and other survival goods. It was almost as annoying as Y2K. One nearby city had power, so everyone was at the K-Mart there. The lines for gas were HUGE! Funny thing was - my mom and I were looking at DVDs and girly stuff when we were at the store that had power, while everyone else was fist-fighting over water. Power ended up coming back before nightfall came, so we were OK. :)

Haha... you know what people around here did? They got drunk. People were pissed off like CRAZY because the beer store was closed for a half a day. No joke!
