6/10 I only listened to a few of their songs, but some of them I didn't like that well... but that could have been due to production

Dream Theater.

6/10 - Not really into the whole alternative/folk-rock thing but not bad at all for what it is.

I love when people say Rusty Cooley can't write worth a damn, then you can just show them OUTWORLD. 8/10 Great band

Jason Becker, if you don't know him, he was an amazing guitarist, he composed wonderful music, and could also shred the f*ck out of the guitar, but he had a disease, Lou Gehrig's disease, now the only away he can communicate is with his eyes using a system his father developed. But he STILL continues to make (amazing) music. Honestly I'm not one to cry about things, but reading his story brought some tears to my eyes.

Probably the most influential stories I've ever heard.

Here's one of his songs, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRK6NxgPlfo&feature=channel_page

I've always loved Becker's work, especially back in the Cacophony days. And the fact that he continues to compose music to this day despite suffering from ALS is definitely one of the most inspirational stories any musician could hear.
