Re: Last persons to reply to this thread wins
The water and salts in our piss was once the blood in our veins, flowed through our brains, may have been the liquid in the brain cells or eyes. It will be dilluted and drank by animals, plants and other people who's bodies it will become part of, and may find its way into the ocean or clouds. Some molecules that were once our very life blood are now in the clouds, the seas, the trees, other people's veins, etc, the molecules from all of us are mixing together. Find that win I do. How people can find the idea that we're related to animals gross given the food/sh*t and drink/piss cycles, I don't know. The constant repair and replacement of parts of us with new parts we put in that were once parts of innumerable other creatures is win.
AND BY THE WAY, I WIN

Feel guilty I know that fanfic by name too. Haven't been many good ones coming out last few years, they deleted some of the good ones. Then nothing as bad as the old mary sue / slash epidemic, so nothing to lol at. Older fanfic was win.

Good to see you back though you didn't keep the win for long.
Going too far on most things is the opposite of win. Take 'open mindedness' as an example; not enough leads people to reject ideas without looking at the evidence, or worse, after seeing it's likely true: too much leads people to accept them without it, or worse, after seeing it's likely false. False positive, false negative, both equally false to me. Most of the time there's a well defined middle position to take, that leads to win.
Like most general principles this has exceptions; you need to eradicate all the disease before you stop your medicine to win! I guess having medicine when healthy is anti-win... just go with evidence and what works to win in every situation.
Part of me is disturbed by people condemning others who (as individuals) evaluate things based on their own evidence and values; asking someone to consider another point of view, incompatible with their own, as equally likely or valid is like asking them to drop their own view, total anti-win. People who say it doesn't matter if something is true or not, if it furthers their position, are the least win of them all IMO.
