Well, Season 21 is over

But, it's that time again, fellow South Parketeers, to see what Season 22 will bring

Last I heard, the contract between Comedy Central and M&T ends after Season 22

If that's accurate, could this be the last season ever of South Park Might there be more contract extensions? Stay tuned in this thread through the year as one source of information

I'll assume, (without any official information), that Season 22 will start on the second Wednesday of September, 2018, which is September 12, 2018. It might start the week before, on September 05, but for now, I'll create this countdown to end on September 12 at 10:00 pm (New York Time), EDT.

Come to this thread each day during the hiatus and see how soon it will be until Season 22 starts.

The way college is going to be this semester, I may miss several live airings of South Park. I hope the full schedule is out soon, so I can plan my days to make sure to have 7PM Wednesday free.

September 26 being the start date, I look for precedent - when did the show start with a similar start date? The answer is in Seasons 17 and 18. The schedule for Season 17 didn't go as planned, so I'll refer to the schedule for Season 18, which was the following:

s18e02 --- Oct. 01
s18e03 --- Oct. 08
s18e04 --- Oct. 15
First Break - Oct. 22
s18e05 --- Oct. 29
s18e06 --- Nov. 5
s18e07 --- Nov. 12

So S22 will air like this:

It looks, depending on traffic, that I will make all but 8 episodes. I will have to go to two Beta Alpha Psi meetings on Wednesday at 7PM most of the rest of this year. So I will have to pick two episodes to skip the live airing. Maybe people can help me pick which episodes to skip? I know the first episode usually is not that good but I think I want to see that one regardless if it is the first episode or if the preview is crappy. I may be able to do extra community service so I can miss two tech meetings on Wednesday, that way I can see all the episodes live air. If I do I'll have to do like 4 hours of community service one day.
