Looks promising! Saw on Facebook that Garrison is gonna be apart of it. Wonder what he'll have to weigh in? He might get into the AI dating sh*t

Not excited for this episode at all. It's cool to take on AI which is a broad and worthy topic but tying it into relationship drama... no thanks.

Only Wendy seems impressed by Stan's sudden change in writing styles. Meanwhile, Stan just phones it in.
Then we find out that some of the other boys knew about ChatGPT, which Garrison wonders about after noticing the improved quality of the papers he's grading.
Tens his partner Rick tells him about the app, and instead of accusing the boys of using it, he decides to have it grades their papers for him.
Wendy begins to get a clue when she notices discrepancies between what Stan "texted" her and his recollections about it later.
Then Wendy is scapegoated even though she wasn't the one using it.
Garrison learns that OpenAI cam be used to answer texts, then realizes that Rick had been using it on him.
Throw in a bit of conspiracy theory and you have the message about the giant tech companies (aka Big Tech) using Open AI for its own purposes.
And that... is how you use Open AI to defeat itself.

This was brought to you by Big-Will and ChatGPT :-D

...not really. I'm just learning about ChatGPT now.

Going into this, I guessed that at some point they'd hand the writing over to AI as a demonstration of how terrible it actually is and how no one should worry too much about their writing gig for now. Sure enough. :D

Couldn't help but notice that while Stan was on the throne in that one shot, it wasn't "Old Blue" he was sitting on. Stan must have been in the upstairs shitter.

I appreciated the foley work during the long-burn scene in the boys' room while the four of them are waiting for that other kid to finish his business before resuming their conversation. The barely audible fart was a nice touch.

Trey's voice sounded a little off to me for Mr. Garrison this week; a little more raspy than it should be. Too much shouting last week, I guess.

The shaman dude with the falcon; I noticed his falcon was flying around with it's little blinder hood on still. They'd never fly with that on; the whole purpose of it is so they stay put until you take it off and it's time to fly.

I feel like Wendy really got shafted this week. She built up this false connection with Stan, then got accused of being the cheater, but never got any real closure. Just the bullsh*t that ChatGPT came up with. Stan gets away with taking her for granted and that don't sit right with me. Long gone are the days when he couldn't talk to her without throwing up from nervousness. Pains me to see Stan being a bad boyfriend. Step your game up, dude.

Strong episode though; nice simple story about being honest with those you care about, otherwise sh*t gets wacky. Exactly the kind of approach I'd expect from South Park for some novel trend like generative AI.

I liked this one. It feels embarrassing to admit it though.

Trey's voices have been 'off' to fans for quite a few years now, I think his voice might just be permanently getting raspier at this point.
