This episode was great! Love Cartman finally being Cartman again, he's felt off lately. Also Kenny screentime and HOODLESS KENNY! This episode was a lot of fun!

(Side note, crazy how Kyle called Cartman fat ass again, it's been years since he's called him that. and Cartman with the jew ripping. telling you all the show is going back to normal !!! i'm happy!)

Great to have a Butters/Cartman episode again. Liked the return of “They took our jobs” & Butters winning in the end glad he made his money back & Cartman is finally home again  :unhoodedkenny:
Kyle: Why? How could you do this? There are people starving in Alabama and you give Cartman a million dollars?

Cartman: Line? Lines! I HATE LINES!!!

That was a glorious episode!
Butters working like a boss at slinging those hot dogs and impressing Liane so that she took Cartman at his word: "This is not a proper place to raise a child." 8)
She gave him his own dose of reality - Everything he did to get out of working at Willy's Chilly Ice Cream Shop came back to bite him when he started hiring his own crew for DikInBaus.
Butters studying up on starting his own business and getting Liane to help him out - now he and Liane run DikInBaus while Cartman gets a more suitable plsvr to grew up in - his old bedroom.

Cartman having no self-awareness being the same lazy worker he later laments. That's classic Fatass. Hypocrite to the bone!
You can bet I'm going make a little ketchup smiley next time I plate up a hot dog!

Very much enjoyed how funny Kenny found the whole DikInBaus name. And yeah, unhooded Kenny! Been a long time, Kenny old friend. :unhoodedkenny:

I like that classic Butters/Cartman dynamic and as a bonus, Fatass didn't get what he wanted in the end, by getting what he wanted in the beginning. Good move there. I think the only thing missing was Butters getting an even nicer payday at the end for selling the place. Like I wanted to see him flush with cash the way Fatass thought he'd be the one getting rich. As it stands, Butters only seemed to get his money back. Cartman jealous of other people's money is usually good schadenfreude for me.

Major callback with Butters' dad immediately going to thinking Butters is only pretending to go to work when he's really off having anonymous gay sex. Back to your old ways, eh Steven? Watch out for "some Puerto Rican guy".

The Corn Thrasher!
Blink and you miss it.

A little Huey Lewis and the News during the montage of Cartman and Kenny doing their "research" for the hot dog stand.

There was a moment there once the giant playground was done where I thought the plot turn was Fatass is only pretending to start a restaurant so he could get Butters to pay for his new mini amusement park. But much better payoff to have Fatass screwed out of the fruits of his non-labor.

There is a loose end though with Kenny. How does he feel about how things all went down while he was take a "mental health day"? Butters getting a big payday and then splitting it with Kenny would have been an extra f*ck you to Fatass. Because then Cartman is poorer than Kenny again.

Great episode.

I love Cartman best when he feels like a child and not a monster, and in this episode he is very much a dumb, spoiled child. The hot dog house arc has been fantastic and I'm a little sad it's over, but glad it wasn't permanent. It was fun to only let him have the house back when he had finally 'moved on' so to speak.

Butters' dedication and hard work were good. It was really interesting to see how they used it. I kept expecting him to give up and feel crushed, or start complaining about Eric, but he toughed it out and ran the hot dog stand all on his own. It's very impressive work. He has a bright future.

I'm so glad we got Kenny content. This is probably the third time he's had a big role in like eight years. I appreciate seeing him and Cartman hang out again and one of our best unhooded Kenny moments.

The satire about jobs felt a little too targeted on zoomers but then they brought back ol' Darryl Weathers to complain about losing his jerb and that elevated it. Laziness is eternal and some people do not want to work, just to complain. (I complain but I do work! :P )

We also got the unexpected but welcome return of Benny the Banker!

Just overall, this felt like a very character gag episode, a very 'South Park is a place' episode. Cartman, Kenny and Butters feel their most evergreen, characters like Darryl and Scott got their little jokes in too, you still learn a little something about the restaurant business, and we get some plot progression. Very well-rounded story overall.
