wow, i even got first post. thats killer.

Actually, after my oppinion it would be very much like them just not to do the second part.. just to tease us fans ;)

But you guys are all gorgetting that episode aired on april 1st, April fools day !

Neither part 1 or part 2 of cartoon wars airs on april 1st.

I cant wait till ep 2 airs..and gets posted on the net, they dont broadcast SP overhere anymore sadly :(
(not because of censorship, but stupid network rivalry killed many good shows, putting the best shows at the same time, then keep shuvveling them arround because it gets less viewers, and in the process losing again more viewers because of inpossible hours or ppl just not knowing anymore if and when a show still airs :( gahh... I lost both babylon 5 and SP that way)

While I dont doubt that they take pleasure in a little Family Guy bashing, its pretty clear that this was in no way the main message in this two-parter.

A shame that the real message appearantly has ended up being overshadowed by a bunch of petty South Park vs. Family Guy bickering.

i've checked a few family guy's bbs, and their members mostly didn't see any offense to FG. in fact, many of them liked the issue of unrelated jokes/cutaway gags.

i'm a bit disappointed about several members of this board showed such intolerance to FG :(

Crab people only works at a random time when nobody is expecting them. This is not one of those times. I'm with the person above, I want some originality here!

first of all..i doubt any of the stuff in the "next time on south park" footage will be in this episode...or it would be funny if it wasnt...also would i be the only one to find it funny if there wasnt a part 2?

Thank You!
I was worried I'd have to read nine posts about f*cking crab people and then have to bitch about it again.

Anyway, I see this'll be the first part two of a two parter that's actually called "part II." They've set up some interesting storylines in part 1 so my hopes are up for a quality show. Hopefully that won't jinx us. I had some doubts about part 1. I was worried it would be nothing but FG bashing. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised and mentally kicked myself having such little faith.

as a few people have said already, matt and trey learned their lesson with "not without my anus".

no lesson to be learned there, NWMA is still among the top 5 SP eps ever.

this weeks should be great, cant wait. theres been a lot of talk about who the FG people are going to be (crab people, Chef, etc), but i doubt it'll be anybody that we've ever seen before, its the Matt and Trey way!!! sucks i work Wednesday til 11, gotta catch the midnight repeat.

I know everyone is expecting and wanting something different for this episode, and it'll probably turn out compleltely different. I was going to express how much I would love to see a return of the Super Best Friends (even though I know the chances for that are about nil) when I wondered why I was even wasting my time speculating. We're never going to be right. If we were, the episode would probably suck.

On a related note, I find it quite funny that for the past few eps, the plot was predicted several days before by some new or single-time poster who was laughed away. Blessed are the meek, eh? Okay, I agree, dumb luck. Infinite monkeys equals Hamlet, right?

I was really high last night and it came to me. Towelie got hired by Family Gay to write for the show.

Sorry for the spoiler. If you want more very informative and insightful peeks into the future, all it costs is one jay.

I'll second that notion. I think Professor Chaos is the mystery writer for Family Guy. :P

it seems to me that the episode hinted a lot at how comedy central pulled the repeat of trapped in the closet because of tom cruise. hey maybe tom cruise will be working for family guy or hell mabye a longshot., xenu

No, no more Tom Cruise. Besides, Tom threatened to sue the first time when they made "trapped in the closet." That's why they pulled the episode. They don't want to piss him off again because you won't like him when he's mad.
