Even putting the jilted lover vibes aside, heroine hero? The dead-seriousness of everything? The bar scenes with Kyle?

Loved it. Loved it. Loved it.

Heroin hero? Hahaha...I know people who would actually play that game...

:cartmanlaugh:

I liked how this episode had some darker tones to it, the drug-shooting stuff, broken friendships, amidst all the innocence and friendship and such surrounding Stan and Kyle...

The song on the radio scene was just amazing...Stan looks back to the good times with his best friend...that was great.

I could go on and on about the symbolism abounding in this episode, but I'll save that for another time...

Goodbye, all you people

I see a parody here!
RockStars!the movie Rock Star, where the musically-talented protagonist is given his chance to stardom, but finds himself losing his old friends and succumbing to drugs.

Wait, wait...did they play Cheap Trick's Surrender or not...? I would've picked right up on that, but I don't recall... Was it just merely mentioned by name?

Serves me right for having minor short-term memory loss...

The most things I like about "Guitar Queer-o" is Randy playing a real guitar and singing "Carry On My Wayward Son", and Cartman says "Real guitars are for old people!" Randy goes downstairs in his underwear and plays Guitar Hero with his plastic guitar controller that barely fits him, and he is so bad that the game says "Game Over! You suck!" And the part when Stan is lured by the guy after breaking 100,000 points to Fad Jenkins, who plays the guitar controller with no sound made me LOL. There was a part when the guy who sold the game to Stan gives him a game called Heroin Hero, (that made me  ) which claims to make him feel better alone by chasing the dragon, but too much playing of that game makes Stan not only sick, but it also makes him suck alone at Guitar Hero at the arcade. He is then lured by the guy who sells games to play Rehab Hero, but he declines and plays racing games. Stan then realizes that all the pressure of superstardom made him break up with Kyle, and he goes to Kyle to apologize and play the game together. (I like the part when the name is spelled Kyle Barfloffski! LOL) And when they finally break a million points, the game shouts, "Congratulations! YOU! ARE! F*GS!" I was all like "YAAAAAAAY!" but then I was like, "Or... no. That sucked." (but thinking of that later made me LOL) Oh, and before that, Randy was in his underwear feeling sick and playing Heroin Hero until Stan turns the game off from the XBox! That was so funny! :cartmanlaugh:

Overall, it was an okay episode, so I give this ep a 7 out of 10.
Still the same as it ever was.

another thing i really liked was when stan first started playing the racing game, before the radio said "heres the song stan and kyle got 100,000 points on" they were playing that corny song from like season 2 or 3 spontanious combustion, the song that played while stans dad was doing research and there running through all the rooms.....that song was on the radio lol

Almost forgot. A reference to Buckethead when Stan said, "Can you play Buckethead at hard?" Funny!

Just like every sports movie is like "Asspen" or "Stanley's Cup."
