What an AWFUL 2 shows, Part 1 and 2. PLEASE fire the writers!!!!!

What's wrong with that? Craig wasn't buying into the boys antics, he wasn't going to explore the cavern with the waterfalls, he just wanted to get home. He was walking, not getting into any trouble; "nice and boring." Perfect!

The fact that it's so stupid that it's funny.

Although I'm sure that many will disagree, this episode was a complete waste of time. For the viewer, the technicians who aired it on Comedy Central, and those who created it. I have always been a big SP fan, but this (and the last episode) sucked. Plain and Simple.
Guinea Pigs??
Peruvian flute bands?
Could they NOT find better material?
What's the point of Craig?
Grade: F-

When looking at episodes of the past, you would think this came from the creators of another show.

After "Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset," "Guitar Queer-O," "More Crap," "Miss Teacher Bangs A Boy," "Go God! 1&2," "Raisins," "You Got F'd in the A," etc., this is pathetic.

I won't stop watching SP, but there's a lot more in the world of pop culture to make fun of, other than Peruvian flute bands.

What are you talking about? Craig told the boys what the audience always knew -- they get into ridiculous situations instead of falling off of a bicycle or fighting with their parents -- and the boys just could not comprehend what Craig (and the audience) always knew. This episode was GREAT!

Ok, I guess need to write this in simple terms for you:

Yes, I know and understand Craig's role in the storyline.

My point is that his role in the whole episode was not very funny.

Ok, he was right about them constantly getting into unusual situations.

But it wasn't funny enough for 2 episodes.

And to BRENTALLION and those who say that we shouldn't compare to episodes in the past:

In a normal society, when a product is no longer high quality, it gets discontinued.

In the case of a tv show, it would be taken off the air.

And, no, I do not SP taken off by any means.

I just want better episodes.

I beg to differ. The episode is just the way I want it. Nice and boring. It made me sooo happy.

You must've been thinking of Cartman, who said "Dude, this is boring. This is just a bunch of walking around."

I can't remember when I laughed so hard. I adore guinea pigs and have 6 and when I saw this I went out and bought a rabbit costume at a pet store. I looked and unfortunately couldn't find any bee or t-rex costumes though. :(

I dont even know where to begin.
These last two episodes were high in the running for the stupidest two episodes that I have ever seen. Anyone that thinks these were funny must be retarded.
I understood all of the lame references to CloverField (which was an awful movie by the way) but how long ago did that movie come out? And they are just spoofing it now? Also, guinea pigs in costumes????
THATS NOT F*CKING FUNNY!!!!!! IT IS JUST F*CKING STUPID. Seriously, who is writing for the show now???? I thought imagination land was pure genious, and I am now dumbfounded to think that the same minds that came up with that..... came up with this piece of crap for a story. I am honestly sorry that I watched both episodes of Pandemic. Peruvian Pan Flute Bands???? Again, not funny. I never even remotely laughed during either of these episodes. I am so completely disappointed with this. If you honestly thought these episodes were good, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Ok. Nicely done again. Best part of the entire two-parter, though: The Peruvian Flute Band rendition of Fear Factory's "Cars" BRILLIANT!!!

(Listen carefully for it during Craig's last monologue... totally tits)

Both episodes were pretty unfunny. Only a couple of fleeting moments that made me laugh. Funniest moment of the episodes was at the end when Randy realizes there wasnt a tape in the camcorder. Besides that there was a whole lot of not funny. Pretty disappointed so far. After Matt and Trey did Turd Sandwich episode they completely left Obama/McCain alone? I thought that South Park was so fresh becuase with their 1 week turnaround anything was possible. Instead we get (another) two parter which was by far the worst two parter they have done. I remember on one of the commentaries Matt and Trey pretty much made fun of shows that used 2 parters all the time. Ironically they have done at least 4 during the past 2 or 3 seasons.

Right. Forgot he did the original version back in... '78? '79? Either way, it was later (in the late 90s) covered by Fear Factory. So I wasn't completely wrong.

Although... Didn't Gary Numan help them out with that cover, anyway?

south park has always been stupid funny

That's the problem. SP always been funny(very funny), smart and a bit stupid in a good way, and now it's becoming just plain stupid. Tray & Matt defenetly lost their touch, and need to find it fast, or just end with show like Monty Python did in similar situation.

I haven't heard the cover, but it's what I've read on YouTube comments.

This episode was just great! I almost thought that there would be giant bees, but not guineapigs dressed as bees! That was funny man... Loved the guinea pirate and the guinea saurus rex. I don't think theres going to be a third part, the leader escaping from prison was just a funny ending joke.
