Ike for McCain is plausible -- and his part in the CORONER COVER-UP is consistent with Ike's smarts -- he could pull it off. But Mr. Mackey supporting McCain after his actions in the 100th episode (episode #704, "I'm a Little Bit Country)? Mr. Mackey was shown to be a real left-wing liberal, and now he's a conservative? I'm not making any point here. Just an observation.

Coulda been so much better... It started off hilarious to me, especially Randy adding Obama to every song. The whole Heist plot was very unfunny. They had so much to work with there and so much potential, but instead it turned into a lame parody without any jokes at all (if there were, they weren't funny). Coulda been so much better.

I still enjoyed the episode. The reality is that political elites do what they want and at a certain point, while idiot, emotional supporters get left in the dust no matter who wins. One minute Clinton and Dole are cussing each other out, the next they are palling around the country doing standup and Viagra commercials.

Thus, I didn't mind the Ocean's parody, as on a certain level that's pretty much how it goes: the average joe all worked up and taking everything to extreme while the candidates are living on a whole different plane (while stealing the "Hope" Diamond - )

I also like how Cartman was played down in this episode. With a (semi) black president, there will be plenty of opportunity for future comedy with him, so why should Trey and Matt shoot their whole wad the day after the election?

i love south park and have loved it for many years. Last night's episode was funny except for one thing. Barack's grandmother's death being faked in the episode. She died maybe three days ago and that has got to be hard for anybody to go through. I just thought that one crossed the line. We all made american history, and its cool that they were that quick with it, but that part of the plan i really wasn't cool with.

That was brilliant. I think it's more than just a movie parody, it was basically saying they f*cked with us! Neat conspiracy, hahah, they're all in it together.

LOL @ IKE, gooodbyeeee (5 foot suicide)

But m8, South park is based in thing that are so outrageous to make fun of. In every episode you say "Oh, the just didn't go there" but they did and they did it so good that you and me still watch it.

South Park is fun when it is Offensive

well they didnt say anything definite about it but kyle did say "obama will do just fine" while trying to cheer ike up and prevent him from jumping off the window (lol!), that its probably how matt and trey feel about the elections

the BRILLIANCE of this episode was how QUICKLY they were able to respond to a current event. For an 'on the fly' creation--I think they did a great job.
Yeah...SP has done better, we all know that, but considering how MONUMENTAL this event was--they get a pass...lol. I wasn't looking for messages and I don't think they were pressing one into our minds either.

'Change' doesn't mean acting a damn fool, and yes, there is still much work to be done.

Entertaining EP you guys...
but please tell me, Why is 'B'
this strange lavenderish color??

Great episode - was not disappointed.
No other show out there can turn out anything like this in such a short space of time - with such quality writing and humour

Randy is pure genius.

Damn...when are they gonna fix the Avatars here? This noob cannot put up a South Park version of himself yet!

Anyway, I loved this episode! The public reaction on either side perfectly summed up how I feel about this election. The liberals who are going crazy because they feel all our problems are just gonna disappear now that Obama's here. And the conservatives who are going crazy because they feel society as we know it is gonna collapse upon itself now that Obama's here. Of course this doesn't speak for every liberal and conservative out there, but I definitely saw that reaction 2 nights ago....at least with the people I'm hanging out with

(and don't get me wrong. 2 nights ago was a monumental milestone in our country and I'm glad to be alive to see us shake off our racial divide and elect a president who isn't a white male. but anyway, that's my political blab and I'll leave it at that).

Bravo Trey and Matt! Wonderful episode! Here's to ending a good season well in the next week or so.

LOL. I thought it was pretty good. If it was an hour they could have done more with the heist itself. It rrealllyyy reminded me of Oceans 12.

This was nothing short of brilliant, Trey and Matt are geniuses.

My DVR cut off the last 15 seconds or so. I figured I wasn't missing much, but I watched the end of a later airing just to be certain. Turns out it was the best part of the episode. Seems like a pretty accurate prediction of what the people with sky-high hopes will be saying in a few short months. Even if Obama does a great job, he can never live up to the image that his supporters have built him up to be.

Excellent episode. As usual, they did a great job with the subtext. The parody of supporters should give both sides something to laugh about, especially themselves. The diversion Oceans 11 parody was more of a device and less of an actual plot line, but I think going after the HOPE diamond and the public being clueless as to what their politicians were up to is pretty significant.

This will not go down in my top 5 episodes, but it was solid.
