Thus, I didn't mind the Ocean's parody, as on a certain level that's pretty much how it goes: the average joe all worked up and taking everything to extreme while the candidates are living on a whole different plane (while stealing the "Hope" Diamond - )
I also like how Cartman was played down in this episode. With a (semi) black president, there will be plenty of opportunity for future comedy with him, so why should Trey and Matt shoot their whole wad the day after the election?
LOL @ IKE, gooodbyeeee (5 foot suicide)
But m8, South park is based in thing that are so outrageous to make fun of. In every episode you say "Oh, the just didn't go there" but they did and they did it so good that you and me still watch it.
South Park is fun when it is Offensive

well they didnt say anything definite about it but kyle did say "obama will do just fine" while trying to cheer ike up and prevent him from jumping off the window (lol!), that its probably how matt and trey feel about the elections
i am learning a little script wrightin , and i wander if i can ever get to that supergodmode LeveL <@:D
i love u trey and matt !
Yeah...SP has done better, we all know that, but considering how MONUMENTAL this event was--they get a pass...lol. I wasn't looking for messages and I don't think they were pressing one into our minds either.
'Change' doesn't mean acting a damn fool, and yes, there is still much work to be done.
Entertaining EP you guys...
but please tell me, Why is 'B'
this strange lavenderish color??
No other show out there can turn out anything like this in such a short space of time - with such quality writing and humour
Randy is pure genius.
Anyway, I loved this episode! The public reaction on either side perfectly summed up how I feel about this election. The liberals who are going crazy because they feel all our problems are just gonna disappear now that Obama's here. And the conservatives who are going crazy because they feel society as we know it is gonna collapse upon itself now that Obama's here. Of course this doesn't speak for every liberal and conservative out there, but I definitely saw that reaction 2 nights ago....at least with the people I'm hanging out with
(and don't get me wrong. 2 nights ago was a monumental milestone in our country and I'm glad to be alive to see us shake off our racial divide and elect a president who isn't a white male. but anyway, that's my political blab and I'll leave it at that).
Bravo Trey and Matt! Wonderful episode! Here's to ending a good season well in the next week or so.
My DVR cut off the last 15 seconds or so. I figured I wasn't missing much, but I watched the end of a later airing just to be certain. Turns out it was the best part of the episode. Seems like a pretty accurate prediction of what the people with sky-high hopes will be saying in a few short months. Even if Obama does a great job, he can never live up to the image that his supporters have built him up to be.
This will not go down in my top 5 episodes, but it was solid.
